Anya 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2004 I'm joining those who want to see one peaceful break-up between anyone in wrestling, be it a tag team, love interest, whatever. Just one peaceful break-up where the two agree to go their own ways but continue to be friends. Booker & Goldust.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 20, 2004 The Booker T/Goldust split was done exceptionally well. Hmmm... you could be right in regards to Shelton Benjamin, but he wasn't doing so badly on SmackDown! this evening. But hey, WWE like to push someone for a while, or give them a supposed push, and then forget about him. Now, that's what's sad but true.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted March 20, 2004 While i'm all for seeing Haas and Benjamin pushed heavily as singles stars, there is still the problem of the tag scene in WWE. Especially now with the APA gone, WWE really need some decent, credible teams and that's where the WGTT fit in. Sad to say, but it looks like for a while anyway, that Haas and Benjamin will probably remain a team, with the occasional forays into singles competition. They're of more value to WWE as a team, then they are as individuals.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 20, 2004 Yes, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin being pushed as Singles stars would definitely hurt the already ailing WWE Tag Team Divisions, namely on SmackDown!. What WWE need to do is make like Booker T/Rob Van Dam. Pair non-upper carders up who aren't doing much, who are over or will get over, and things will start to improve. Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted March 20, 2004 WWE could make a solid amount of teams just from the misused talent they have on contract though. For example... Since Sylvan Grenier is back, why not take Rob Conway out of La Resistance, bring up Nick Dinsmore and reform the Lords Of The Ring? Although they'd have to get a better name though . Or bring up Nova and put him with Stevie Richards? On Smackdown, why not make Kidman and London a more permanent pairing? Or push Jimmy Yang and Sakoda as threats to the tag titles? Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 20, 2004 You see, majority of those are great ideas, and with the right booking, could result in incredible matches, ala Survivor Series 2002 (a Tag Team Championship match I like to make an example of), but WWE do not often want to do the right thing.
