Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted March 18, 2004 So a couple of months ago when MLW came back I remember it being annonced that Maximum Pro Wrestling would be debuting on Sunshine in March. I just checked the program guide for Sunshine Network online on their webpage, and it's supposed to air tomorrow night at 12:30AM (Saturday morning). All I know is it's some indy in Florida. Does anyone know anything more about it? Their website sucks.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2004 They're quite good. Shane Douglas, D'Lo Brown, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, and other guys I know have competed for them, and that's just off the top of my head. They have a very good roster.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 18, 2004 This gives me a reason to watch IWA: Puerto Rico again I guess. God that promotion is so bad. If Dutch Mantel made the company #1 in Puerto Rico, I can guess how sorry of a state in wrestling Puerto Rico has been.
Guest Markingout Report post Posted March 18, 2004 I was suppose to start 3 weeks ago. I don't think it will be on until the official announcement is made. They're quite good. Shane Douglas, D'Lo Brown, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, and other guys I know have competed for them, and that's just off the top of my head. They have a very good roster. There roster sucks. All they have is Raven,Styles,Sabin, and Daniels. Plus when they were in Florida, those people where on 2 outta 4 shows. They also have people like Buff Bagwell,Konnan, BJ James, and a bunch of other old guys.

A Few good Indy guys and some older veterans is a must see to me.
Guest Markingout Report post Posted March 19, 2004 As with all new ventures, sometimes you hit a bump in the road. The fact of the matter is this - Sunshine and MXPW have been in and continue to be in contract negotiations for a program to air on Friday nights. Both sides have worked diligently and in good faith to come to a mutually agreeable contract. Sunshine was kind enough to place us on their web based schedule even before the contract was signed, however, there are still minor changes to be made before the contract is ratified. As soon as those changes are made and there is a signed contract in hand, we will make the official announcement on the air date and time. Thanks for the continued interest! According to the MXPW board even though this post is from the 5th of March
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 20, 2004 Sh*t. Now After watching IWA there's nothing remotely good to follow. At least IWA is still a bit better than NACW Wrestling (or whatever). Bunch of no names (and random over-the-hiller) fighting in front of 100 people.
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2004 They have a really cool logo, so I've played as them in EWR quite a few times. Otherwise I know pretty much nothing about them.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Was MXPW on? IWA put my to sleep again. Nope. I suspected they wouldn't once it was removed from the scheduled lineup. Anyone know the matches from IWA? I kinda was too bored to pay attention.
