Actually, HBK was positioned as more of the third wheel, and Benoit was positioned as a challenger. The thing was, HBK and HHH hogged so much of the spotlight that they became the central focus. But this all lent itself really well to the fact that HBK had basically stolen his place, and Benoit had earned it, even though he was really forced to fight for it more.

 

And from what the Observer said, it sounds like Benoit's going to get a decent sized title reign while Triple H is out shooting.

Shit...I don't care. When I pop in that WrestleMania tape 20 years from now Benoit and Eddy will still be standing in the middle of the ring with the belts.

 

Anything after that...I fully expect the WWE to screw up.
