Guest Salacious Crumb Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 I've been wanting to subscribe for a long time but the price keeps scaring me off. Is it worth $90 for roughly a year?
JoeDirt Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Someone asked a question like that on one of the other boards here...people mainly said that the info is great, but you can usually find it on the internet for free anyways, so it's not always worth it. Maybe wait for a sale or something.
Guest drdrainoscott Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 I've been a subscriber going on my third year and I couldn't recommend the WON enough. Even though a lot of the info is posted on the net, Meltzer goes into so much detail and gives so much insight into everything that you learn so much in every issue. Plus, besides the news, he also writes features on the history of the business (he is now focusing on the end of 1992 in his history of the WWF piece), as well as other interesting articles. I always look forward to going to my PO Box and getting the newsletter.

The Decemberists Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Good quality scanned copies scanned are usually up on bit torrent servers the day or day after they're sent out so if you're cheap like me you can get them from places like this.
