Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 Golden Harvest II Greenock Town Hall Well, SCW return on April 17th and the card seems to be taking shape in a very good way. I'm not actually part of SCW, I'm just a fan who has been VERY impressed by what he has seen from the organization. They only hold a show every so often, and it's worth it to go and see them put on a show. It's only £10. Main Event SCW Championship Last Man Standing Drew McDonald © v Conscience Drew McDonald is the biggest name on the SCW roster. He is also one of the worst wrestlers on the rosters. BUT, this isn't about mat wrestling. This is about blood and violence. Conscience wrestled a match with OVW a while back, and this feud has been long. It essentially started when Conscience defeated Majik in a 20 Minute Iron Man Match to win the SCW Title. Unfortunately, on that very night, he picked up an injury to his arm and had to vacate his SCW Title. He was scheduled to face Andy Hogg. Drew McDonald took his place and won the title. Conscience then challenged Drew McDonald and he accepted. Drew McDonald had Eric Canyon to deal with first. He went on a verbal tirade of the fans and Eric Canyon before defeating him. He then said that Conscience won't get a title shot. There was a 30 Man Royal Rumble to decide the new #1 Contender. Conscience was eliminated by a Young Lion by the name of C-4. Then came the twist. Kobayashi Marou was hyped before the event. He was wearing a mask. He went on to win the match by eliminating Sabotage at the end. He unmasked and it was Conscience. Drew McDonald said Conscience wasn't gonna get a title match with him. It was then announced that Drew wouldn't be around for the next show, so a #1 Contender Match was made between Sabotage and Conscience. Conscience came out on top in a super match with a MEGA hot crowd. His shot can't be denied now. Majik v Sabotage Now, the match above is SUPPOSED to be the big talking point, but this match IS the big talking point. The feud has been more subtle. Two shows ago, Majik took on Andy Hogg in a '1 or 30 Challenge' to see who would be in first and last in the match. With the help of his back up ..... Sabotage, Andy Hogg took the win. Of course, no-one took real notice of this. At the last show, Majik was a lumberjack for the Conscience v Sabotage match. Majik took a swing for Sabotage, and again no-one really took notice. On the SCW boards though, Sabotage made it clear that he wasn't happy with Majik. No-one was really sure of how far he would take it though. At another show, Sabotage was facing a student of Majik called Danny Oxman. Sabotage defeated him, and when Majik was encouraging Oxman, and clearly not provoking Sabo, Sabo just went out and attacked Majik and busted him open. It was at this point that Sabotage's professionalism was called out and the match was made. The hype on the message boards has been through the roof for this match, and the fans DESPERATELY wanna see it. I myself wanna see it as well because it will most likely be a total cracker. One of the stiffest stars in the UK up against one time NWA-UK Jr. Heavyweight Champion and OVW trainee. This is a match that's not to be missed. Total Annihilation and Chris Charizma v The Nattrass Boyz Total Annihilation are Hatred and Adam Shame. They have been very impressive so far in SCW, and have Chris Charizma in their team, who has lost his only two matches in SCW thus far. The Nattrass Boyz are J, XL and Shady. They are the uncrowned SCW Tag Team Champions. This match is all down mainly to a feud between Kenny Morrison, Managing Director of SCW, and Total Annihilation. This started at Summer Spirit last August, when Total Annihilation attacked Kenny. Kenny has never actually forgiven them for this. Adam Shame then hit a DDT on the stage at the next show. There was a Tag Team Gauntlet ( which had over the top rope eliminations as a rule as well ) and it came down to the Nattrass Boyz ( J and XL ) and Total Annihilation. Hatred got the pin and then stepped over the top rope. Kenny Morrison then saved the day by informing Hatred that the foot was on the ropes, and since Hatred stepped over the top rope, The Nattrass Boyz won the match. Chris Charizma is added as he is managed by the manager of Total Annihilation, Draevyn. The match is gonna be action packed. It's a dark horse for match of the night as well. Billy Grange v Flight Both of these guys are young lions. Billy Grange has been stepping up the rungs of SCW for a little while now. Flight eliminated Billy Grange from TWO matches in a row. The first was a match for a full SCW contract, and the other was the #1 Contender's Royal Rumble. The feud isn't exactly simmering, and there isn't too much bad blood here, but the match was requested by Billy Grange. Both men are very good considering their experience levels, and the match should be good. I wouldn't expect a classic, but I AM expecting great effort from both guys. Plus ... There will surely be a match involving King of Scotland, 'The Pigman' Andy Hogg. He is a superb mat wrestler, and has a kickass gimmick. He won the King of Scotland title in a tournament, defeating Eric Canyon in the match of the night. I am putting my money on a rematch taking place. If it DOES take place, then the match will be super. At the last show, there was a Young Lions Ladder Match in which the new Young Lions Champion was crowned. CJ Hunter won the title, but Shane ( a crazy bugger of a Young Lion ) suckerpunched him, took the title, and ran. CJ Hunter demaded to get a hold of Shane at Golden Harvest II and Kenny Morrison announced that Shane will be in the hall. He said that if Shane hands back the title, he will be rewarded with a full contract with SCW. CJ Hunter is not amused, and wants his revenge on Shane. The contract signing will take place at Golden Harvest II and you can bet SOMETHING is gonna happen.
