When did Val cut his hair anyway? I did enjoy his feuds with Ken Shamrock and Goldust back in the ol' Attitude era.

He cut it right after his heel turn in June 2000 I believe.

When did Val cut his hair anyway?

Mid-July 2000, around a week before Fully Loaded. It was during his time with Trish but NOT until they were together for some time. He had long hair at KOTR 2000 and when he won the IC title a couple weeks later.

I _loved_ the feud with Goldust back in the day, though it was mostly for Goldust's return.

Val: "Helllllllllooooo ladies..."

*tries to speak more, but the mic goes out*

Goldust (over the PA) "Hellllllllloooooooo Val.......It's....showtime...."

When did Val cut his hair anyway?

When he joined up with Trish in 2000.

For some reason, I marked like hell for Trish's stable back then. I-C Champ Val and T&A with the tag belts would've been great.

I bought the RTC shirt because of Val and Ivory.

Oh God, I bought the Right to Censor shirt.

::weeps::

You obviously are referring to the parody of the Chyna-JR interview.

That was GOLD!!

You seem to forget who "T" was.

Don't feel bad about having an RTC shirt...I was dumb enough to buy a CD of their entrance music.

Okay, bad joke, I apologize.

I'll take that over whatever the hell that garbage was that Stacy "sings" on WWE Originals.

Honestly, for that whole December-February, Val and Ivory were quite good, and could have been separated from RTC.

Bah. T&A was my team. Once they got used to working together, they were great. There's no reason they shouldn't have gotten a tag title run...at least they were better than Bull and the Goodfather.

Heh, I'm not alone on the Stacy song, then. It's sad when you can't find 3 seconds on an entire song that's listenable.

"Honestly, for that whole December-February, Val and Ivory were quite good, and could have been separated from RTC. "

Yeah, they could have been great heels, but Vince was more concerned in making fun of the PTC than actually doing something worthwhile with his employees.

I remember rumors that Vince himself was going to be the one to stop the RTC at Mania or something, but it didn't happen and just kinda went on until it fizzled out.

Bah, I marked out for Bull's ripoff of the Ax Kick, and the triangle kick.

They broke up not too long after SummerSlam 2001 (I think?) which led up the atrocious Undertaker-Kane / Kronik match at Unforgiven.

Yeah, but I considered the RTC was good and dead when Steven was managing a pair of guys whose gimmicks were based on pot references.

EDIT: I called Kronik "wrestlers." My bad.

I think RTC broke up back in April 2001. At a Smackdown I went to, I remember them breaking out in a brawl after an Ivory/Chyna Women's title match (last time I saw Chyna in person...*sniffles* :(). They got back together for the next Raw, but then ended up fighting again. Stevie blamed Undertaker for it somehow.

How different do you think WWE would've been had they given RTC a run as top heel group in 2000? It probably would've freshened things up a bit (getting away from the wrestler vs owner storylines) and I think RTC had the heat to pull it off.

I actually got tired of the RTC quite quickly.

Off topic, sorry, but I never saw the infamous Kronik-B.O.D. match. Can someone describe it?

Sloppy, and really _REALLY_ boring. Really, _REALLY_ slow. I don't know how else to describe it.

Val faced and lost to Raven on the pre-show Heat at Judgment Day (i.e. May 2001) and he was still RTC.

I remember Steven Richards jobbing very quickly to Tazz on RAW a couple weeks later.

RTC was definitely history by the end of June 2001.

Didn't RTC break up not long after Kat was fired and Val was kicked out? Originally the plan was to boot Val out of the RTC for having sex with her, but when she was fired they kind of had to hint around that, and it seemed the group dissolved not long after.

RTC never officially broke up, they just disappeared. Val was never kicked out.

Kat was fired in February 2001, some months before their disappearance, so it couldn't have been a catalyst. Remember, RTC had two matches at X-7.

Well, Kat got fired after No Way Out 2001 and they worked Wrestlemania and a few shows afterwards, but following the Right to Nudity angle, they really didn't do anything noteworthy.

He had the little IC title push and the cage match with Rikishi at Fully Loaded 2000 where Kish came off the top of the cage with a splash.

That was cool, his tribute to Superfly!!!

Except Rikishi showed how balanced he was by standing near the MIDDLE of one of the side.s this was before they had those big ass tops on the cage where you can easily stand on it.

Actually I recall that type of cage being used for that match.

I may be wrong though; I haven't seen that match since 2001.
