Tag Champions: Coolest Mexicans Alive

I need to explain something. Yes, my tag team names are lame. I have absolutely no inspiration whatsoever. Also, the "Whole F'N" Championship is a gimmick championship. It's a cheap belt with some tin foil thrown on it. Nobody in the game wants the damn belt, and when they win it, the wrestler usually changes the name of the belt. It started as Christian's "Peep's Title", then became Storm's "Maple Leaf Title", then Sabu's "Arabian Title" and so on. You get the deal.

I also used to have some other tag teams, but Charlie Haas, Raymond Rougeau and Jamie Noble are all injured. Super Crazy is in rehab.

Finally, I named all my pay-per-views with song titles that I liked. Mostly Bad Religion & Offspring stuff. Last month was "KPW Struck A Nerve". This month will be "KPW Dirty Magic". It makes no sense from a wrestling point of view, but my weekly shows are named "Mope", "Smash" and "Session", so it's not like it mattered.

Finally, I will mostly post outlines of my shows. No full descriptions. This is the format at used at some other forum, and people liked it.

With that, I will say good read.

Monday Night Mope

The Quebecers won a three way match against Heelness and Truly Great to become the #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles.  Nothing to signal, excpet for the Cannonball finish by The Quebecers.  76%

Chris Benoit is in the ring, annoucning that his ankle is healing after the attack by Chris Jericho.  Jericho isn't far behind, as he runs to the ring with a chair.  This time, Benoit knows better, and he applies a crossface before Jericho can even swing.  The refs try to seperate the two.  93%

Juventud Guerrera beats Devon Storm, Hurricane and Shark Boy in a 4-way match.  This was Guerrera's debut, and he follows this by asking for a X-Title shot.  No answers yet from the champion.  79%

The Mattitude Followers(Matt, York, Moore & Mero) ask Cabana for an answer.(They asked him to join last Thursday.  Cabana said he would think about it) Caban says no, he wants to be known as a star on his own.  Mero takes exception to that and beats him up.  75%

The Coolest Mexicans Alive beat La Résistance to retain the Tag Team Titles.  Grenier missed a dropkick and hit Duprée instead of Psychosis, giving him the opportunity to roll him up.  Duprée looks pissed, and walks to the back by himself.  74%

Kurt Angle is being interviewed, verbally blasting Eddie Guerrero for his recent actions in their feud.  He says that it will all end, THURSDAY, in a CAGE MATCH!  91%

Lance Storm defeated Peery Saturn, who passed out in the Sharpshooter.  Saturn was about to reach the ropes when Low Ki arrived with a lead pipe, hitting Saturn with it behind the ref's back.  76%

Randy Orton, who lost his TV Title last week, says that he did not lose his confidence along with his belt.  He wants to prove he is still the best by issuing an open challenge for a match Thursday.  Ken Shamrock makes his KPW debut by answering the challenge.  Orton bails immediately.  80%

Roddy Piper and Ultimo Dragon are being interviewed in the back.  He says that if AJ Styles wants a shot, he just has to step up.  If he can win the #1 contendership, then Dragon will do what he has to and defend the title.  84%

Christopher Daniels beat Kurt Angle after the Last Rites when Angle was distracted by Eddie Guerrero.  Guerrero flees, and Angle chases him afterward.  88%

Rey Mysterio beats Matt Hardy to retain the World Championship in a nice athletic match.  90%

End of the show.

In case anyone is wondering why some things happened, Guerrero is currently feuding with Angle, Benoit with Jericho and Saturn with Low Ki. Low Ki was once a member of the Mattitude Followers, but he broke away to form the A-Ki-Tude followers, with Neidhart, Bundy and Smiley. Ki and Hardy had a feud, won by Hardy. Now, they use each others when they need to.

If anybody has questions, just ask. I know that some things may be confusing since this circuit is already a couple of months old.

Also, I'll probably add stars ratings for the next matches.

Thursday Night Smash Results

Colt Cabana defeats Marc Mero when Christian York tried to interfere in Mero's favor, but completely misses the Superkick attempt. An easy roll-up for Cabana ensues. **1/4, 74%

Jerry Lynn comes to the ring to answer Juventud Guerrera's challenge from last show. Lynn says he accepts, but he won't be the only one challenging at the PPV. The X-Title is seeked by many, so Lynn says he'll defend it in a 4-way match against othe challengers to be announced. 70%

It's time for "The Highlight Reel", and Jericho invites Chris Benoit to join him, saying there will be no cheap shot this time. Jericho says that he is tired of always beating on him, so he asks Benoit what it will take for him to admit that Jericho is superior. Benoit says that when he will be completely healed, they will have a submission match. Jericho says he's on. 93%

The Quebecers defeat La Résistance via a Cannonball on Grenier. Duprée is pissed off, and tells Grenier to get his head clean. Grenier says he did what he could, and they argue over the defeat. Yeah, I know you can see where it is going. **1/2, 76%

Low Ki is being interviewed, and he's asked why he is always tormenting Perry Saturn. Ki says that Saturn started something by making him submit in the Wargames match last month, and now he has to deal with it.(My main event last PPV was a Wargames Match, and Saturn made a bloodied and tired Low Ki submit to the rings of Saturn.) 71%

Paul London defeats Sabu via London Calling to retain the KPW TV Title. Sabu shakes London's hand after the match, in a showing of good sportsmanship. **3/4, 74%

Ken Shamrock beats Randy Orton via DQ when Orton, who was in the ankle lock, took a pair of brass knucks from his trunks, turned around and hit Shamrock with it before bailing out. Shamrock, of course, vows revenge. ***, 82%

Rob Van Dam enters Goldust's locker room. He tells him that he has trouble finding someone willing to fight for his Whole F'N Title, and asks him to be his challenger for the next PPV. Goldust says that he doesn't feel like it, but RVD wants him to think about it. 75%

AJ Styles defeats Kid Kash via Styles Clash to become the #1 contender to Ultimo Dragon's Intercontinental Title. Styles celebrates afterward, and warns Dragon to be ready for him. ***1/2, 85%

Vader comes to the ring, microphone in hands. He says that he already beat Rey Mysterio before he was a champion. In fact, he beat him two times, but ever since Mysterio became the World Champ, he has been ducking him. Vader says it's over, and he wants his match Monday on Mope. 85%

Eddie Guerrero defeats Kurt Angle in a great Cage Match. The ending came when Guerrero executed a Frog Splash from the top of the cage on Angle. They laid in the middle of the ring for about a couple of seconds, and Guerrero beat Angle in a race to the door. ****, 93%

End of the show.

So, we already have a Vader/Rey Mysterio match signed for Monday, and a couple of matches signed for the Pay Per View. Up next will be my version of a B-Show, KPW Sunday Night Session. Don't expect any major match, just ways to get some of my starting talent over.

Vader v Rey, hmm why do I expect this to be on the next SD!? Anywho, it sounds (uh, looks) good. And the gimmick title is a great Idea. Keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback! I think readers could use some history on that gimmick title. I digged up the first Pay Per View of KPW, just to see what I wrote about that. Here it is.

*We switch to the locker room where Christian is standing with Jim Cornette.  He is holding his prized home-made Peeps Title, which looks like your grand-father's old leather belt with an aluminum plate on it.*

Cornette : Christian, tonight, you are defending against SHARK BOY, the winner of your little tournament which only took place on Session, which is this great federation's B-show.  Does that mean anything about the title's prestige?

Christian : Come on Jim!  This title is as prestigious as any belt in the federation.  Sure, I'm defending against Shark Boy, but I had no choices.  The bookers came to me and said "Chris, we need to use this guy more".  I said "Do you have any other underused moron that I can work with?"  Their answer was the Honky Tonk Man.  What can I do?  What I mean is that no matter how poor is my opponent, the title is still hanging at my waist, making it more prestigious than a Nobel Prize.

Cornette : But Sharky is a young up and comer here.  Some say he'll be World Champ one day.

Christian : He'll never be World Champ.  He has no Peeps.  I do.  Now get the microphone off my face, I have some asses to kick.  Well, at least one.  Whatever.  Shark Boy sucks.  Yeah, that's what I meant.

Cornette : Back to you, Marc and Michael!

*We now head to the commentary table, where Marc Blondin and Michael LeTourneur are calling the shots.  We are having our first match of the evening...*

So, Christian was the only one to want the title, but then Shark Boy won it and renamed it the Dead Sea Title, and then lost it to Lance Storm I think.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the greatest B-Show on Earth...

Sunday Night Session

Tonight is the one-night only King of the B-Show tournament! Before it starts however, let's have ourselves a little Tag Team Match.

Matt's Bitches(Moore & York) beat Scotty 2 Hotty and Norman Smiley via Bitch Maker, a vicious move that I did not really think about except for a name. Not a great match. **1/2, 68%

Jimmy Rave beat D'Lo Brown via Satellite Crossface in a good match to advance to the second round. Normal match with a couple of good spots. **, 69%

Devon Storm defeats Glenn Gilberti via Mindbender to advance to the second round and face Jimmy Rave. Bland match, but what do you expect from a B-Show? **, 65%

Frankie Kazarian beats Mike Sanders with a Wave of the Future to go to the second round. A better match than the last one, with great spots from Kazarian. **, 67%

Nunzio makes Sonny Siaki tap out to the Sicilian Crab for the win and the right to face Kazarian in the second round. Baaaaad match, and it's not Nunzio's fault. *1/2, 55%

Jimmy Rave beats Devon Storm via Satellite Crossface to advance to the finals. Looked like a MOTY after the last one. **1/2, 68%

Nunzio beats Frankie Kazarian with a Kiss of Death for the right to face Jimmy Rave in the finals. **1/4, 66%

Jimmy Rave defeats Nunzio with a Northern Lights Bomb for the win and the title of "King of the B-Show" in a GREAT match. I think these two will work together again in the future. ***1/2, 73%

End of the show

Well, as you can see, I use my B-Show as a place to experiment mainly. Don't be surprised if other weird things happen on Sunday Night Session. So Jimmy Rave wins. Hope you liked it.

It's time for another edition of...

Monday Night Mope

Chavo Guerrero defeats Colt Cabana, Julio Dinero and Shark Boy in a 4-way match with a brainbuster on Dinero. Jerry Lynn, your X-Champion, comes in after the match and announces Chavo as the third participant of the 4-way match for his belt at the "Dirty Magic" PPV. ***, 80%

Low Ki is in the ring with his security staff(Neidhart & Bundy), daring Saturn to come and talk with him face to face. He says that he can't stop thinking that he should have made Saturn submit in the Wargames match, so he wants a match 1-on-1. Saturn walks on the ramp, but says he doesn't trust Ki and his little friends, so he brought something with him. Saturn enters the ring with a lead pipe, knocking Bundy & Neidhart before ducking a superkick by Ki. He floors him with the pipe and says that HE will decide when the match will take place. 79%

Norman Smiley defeats Norman Smiley when his frustrated friends from Low Ki's stable interfere. Rob Van Dam comes in after the bell for the save, and Goldust thanks him. RVD says that Goldust now owes him one, so he has no choice but to face him for his ugly belt at the PPV. **3/4, 79%

Roddy Piper is backstage with Ultimo Dragon. Piper says that his ultimate dream is to manage the greatest stable of pure wrestlers ever assembled. He says that he is now making one more step in that direction with the signing of Bryan Danielson as his new client. Danielson comes in to a pop. Jerry Lynn follows, and tells Danielson that he wants to give him his first opportunity by making him the fourth participant in the X-Title match. Danielson accepts. 83%

The Quebecers & Truly Great defeat La Résistance & The Coolest Mexicans Alive in a 8-men tag match when Grenier takes a Dragon Whip from Benjamin while The Quebecers and TCMA were fighting on the outside. Dupree is pissed, Grenier apologizes, and Dupree tells Grenier that he is pushing his luck. **1/2, 75%

Backstage, Ken Shamrock is found unconscious, in a pool of his own blood. The medics say that he will be out until further notices. Randy Orton, who has a bloody sledgehammer in his hands, says that he didn't do it. Apparently, he was "coming to confront Shamrock" when he found him there, and that he is just "holding the evidence that he found". 70%

Chris Jericho is in the ring, talking trash about Benoit, saying that he is just faking his injury to avoid him. Benoit storms in from the crowd and applies the Walls of Jericho. Humiliated, the long-haired Chris escapes, and Benoit says that he is now healed. The match should take place soon. 89%

AJ Styles defeats Jimmy Rave in a close match, after he countered a hurricanrana attempt in a Styles Clash. Styles makes it clear that he wants Ultimo Dragon's IC title. ***, 81%

Eddie Guerrero defeats Matt Hardy with a small package when Kurt Angle missed a chairshot on Eddie and hit Hardy instead. After the match, Hardy takes exception to that and punches Angle. ***, 82%

Vader is backstage, saying that tonight will not be different from other nights. He will beat Mysterio again, only this time, he will get rewarded for it. 78%

Rey Mysterio beats Vader with a 6-1-9 to retain the KPW World Title. Mysterio wants to be a nice guy and offers a handshake, but Vader turns his back and walks away. ***3/4, 89%

End of the show

-------------------------------------------

I think that was a pretty good show. The PPV is starting to look good, and more matches are gonna be announced for it soon.

Thanks for the comments by the way. It's appreciated.

Some news and rumours!

Pro Wrestling Iron and Xtreme Pro Wrestling are in financial troubles.  Some say that it could spell the end for both promotions.

I don't know if I can win any good talent from them, but I'll probably buy both feds anyway.

It has been reported by a reliable source that Hulk Hogan will be appearing at the next KPW show.  Jerry Lynn is also said to have walked out of the company.

Good old Wrestling-Heat.com ::roll eyes::

Bradshaw, Billy Gunn and Boss Man are all rumoured to be at the end of their contract, and up for grab.

I know I won't be making an offer. Unless I make it the new "Evil Financial Advisor" Bradshaw. That would suck, but that would be so much fun. Somebody help me, I'm going nuts. Or NUT!

It's time once again for the greatest B-Show on Earth...

KPW Sunday Night Session

I'm pretty sure you are all drooling in anticipation of what you might see on this show. I don't want to disapoint you, but it's a B-Show, you know?

Bryan Danielson defeats Sonny Siaki with a Cattle Mutilation(Thank you for the help). Nothing of note happened. More like a training match for Danielson. **1/4, 73%

A video package hypes the feud between Perry Saturn and Low Ki. By the way, in the game, Low Ki married my still-non-existing daughter, and he now has Creative Control. 75%

Raven defeats Psychosis in a good match. Probably the best I'll ever get on Session. ***, 80%

We now have a 20-men Battle Royal for the right to cut a promo on Monday Night Mope. In the end, it's down to our new Face worker Sylvain Grenier, Hurricane, Shark Boy and Nunzio. Grenier dumps Sharky, Hurricane dumps Grenier and Nunzio dumps Hurricane. Let's give a big "HURRAY!" to Nunzio. *, 69%

In the surprise of the evening, Kid Kash defeats Colt Cabana in THE best match ever on Session, one-upping Raven and Psychosis. ****1/2, 95%

Matt's Bitches(Moore and York) defeat Frankie Kazarian and Mike Sanders with a Bitch Maker. I don't know what it is, but it sounded cool a couple of months ago. **1/4, 72%

René Duprée gets his first solo victory when he beats Christopher Nowinski with a Figure Four Leglock. Old school baby. **, 72%

Jimmy Rave retained his "King of the B-Show" title by defeating Glenn Gilberti via submission. Maybe I'll bring back Disco Inferno. **, 73%

End of the show.

In more exciting news, La Parka apparently blasted my promotion on a Radio Show. I ignored it, but I smell something better...

~PUNISHMENT GIMMICK!~

I'll try to think of something. Finally, I'll try to post some of the columns I used to write back at Whacked Out Wrestling. They are single match review, but with deep play-by-play to look at classics or good matches. I try to make the readers realize why the match sucked or ruled, and the wOw readers appreciated back in the day. That was before the second incarnation of the board, however. That'll change me from writing "Creative Control" and "Worst Wrestling Ever". I just hope you will appreciate. If you don't, well...

I won't do a lot of thing if you don't.
