Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted April 1, 2004 I just saw a thread closed for being "bumped for no reason." But we're also supposed to search for a thread that's already about the topic we want to discuss before starting a new one. So we shouldn't start a superfluous thread but we can't bump up one that is already on topic? I'm just a bit confused.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 1, 2004 No wonder my post didn't go through. The TSM Mods are on the ball. I concur with UYI, but ManKinnd, an interesting point. I think that that thread regarding Ron Simmons' WWE release was Locked because the reply that bumped it wasn't really relevant, and the Mod that did indeed Lock it said that (paraphrasing) "there was no reason for it to be bumped". If it still related to the topic instead of bumping it for a nostalgic view, then it would be fine. CanadianChick for up me for doing that with the very first thread in the World Wrestling Entertainment folder a while back.
Guest JMA Report post Posted April 1, 2004 I was the one who bumped it. I admit that I did bump it for a somewhat trivial reason. I have no problem with APO's decision to lock it.
