They're coming to the war memorial in Ft. Lauderdale on April 16 for a show. The Warlord will be there!

 

David Penzer is the ring announcer.

 

Fat Mikey Jay from WCW is the ref.

 

Hardocre Rumble Battle Royal is next. 3 guys I've never heard of. Mideon is in there, New Jack is in there, and Sandman is in there also.

 

The ring is lit fine, but you can't see anyone in the crowd as it's pitch black. They are making noise though. The production is kind of "rough" I'd say when they cut from the announcers to the ring, and so forth. I think the audio is a second off from the video in spots too.

 

This seems like how MLW should have done it. Run Florida, tape TV, but do it cheaply with not a lot of names you have to fly in from all over the world. Problem is so far in 15 minutes I think the product looks like shit, and the lack of spending money shows. But if you spend the money, you go out of business, so I don't know what a promotion is to do.

 

Sandman and New Jack are getting bleeped left and right in this segment.

Ok, this show is f'ed up. They just showed highlights of a Daniels-Sabin match. AJ ran in and gave Daniels a Styles-Clash and Sabin won. I think that match was for the TV title.

 

Now, back from commercial, and Kelly and Callous talk like they've been on for weeks. They say next week we'll find out who is the #1 contender for Sabin's belt, AJ or Daniels. I know they wrestled each other for this promotion (6 months ago) so hopefully they'll play the match.

 

Wait, now Kelly just said the match will be within the hour. What the Fuck.

 

 

 

Diamond, Swinger, and Gilberti just came out. They are facing Fidel Sierra and Antonio Banks. Kelly says that Swinger and Diamond are kicking off this week of MXPW TV. I thought we started 30 minutes ago. How can this be so messed up in the first week? And people say TNA needs to improve production! Yikes.

I'm sure TNA is going to pursue MXPW to not use their talent, especially in a situation like this where Swinger and Diamond are teaming up. They wouldn't want people confused because of the whole RF situation I'm sure.

I feel like this show has been a bunch of squash matches. Why couldn't they have showed the Daniels-Sabin match.

In Scott Keith mode, 5 redhot pokers up the bookers ass for having Buff Bagwell on the show, and another 2 for making his opponent try and be a big bad tough guy who is just a fat jobber.

This is weird. I feel like they played the last 20 minutes of their 1st show and then started their second show, as Kelly talks as if we saw Sabin-Daniels wrestle last week.

Buff definitely lost some weight since the WWA days. But this was taped 6 months ago I think. I saw him in the Baltimore airport 2 years ago. We passed each other and I looked at him and could tell that he realized I knew who he was. He gave me a pretty evil look. Didn't look like a nice guy. Pretty short too.

Vampire Warrior and Dave Johnson (tag champs) vs. Payne and Sean Allen.

 

You know, this sucks. It really does. I'm pretty sure I'm right about my 20 mintues of week 1 + 40 mins of week 2. Because Allen and Payne were in the battle royal, which would have been week 1. This means, and this is a bold prediction, that we will not get to see either the Daniels-Sabin match or the Daniels-Styles match as unless they pick up where they left off next week, will get lost in this week 1/week 2 shuffle.

That was classic. Payne drew Gangrel into the ring from the outside, so when the ref went to turn his back and get Gangrel out, Allen came in and instead of doing the heel double team, Payne left the ring and Allen just covered Johnson. But the ref was still dealing with Gangrel, so he just laid there and had to wait for the ref to count the 3 count.

What did I learn from that hour:

 

1. If I want to have a wrestling program put together and produced, I will cross Nick Lawrence Productions off the list of possible choices.

 

2. Instead of seeing Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels or Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Sytles, I got to see Buff Bagwell, New Jack, Sandman, Chaz, Julio Dinero, Luther Biggs, the Cuban Heavyweight Champion, and some other jobbers.

 

3. IWA's announcing is HORRIFIC, as I had to watch that to get to MXPW.
