Car speakers...

I have a 2000 Ford Focus and in a few weeks I want to get new speakers for my car.

 

Focus' have 5x7, but 6x8 will work also.

 

Does anyone know of some good speakers I should get? Or where should I go?

Or I could be happy because I got this car for free and the fact it is all paid off with the money we got from my mom.

 

Besides, a Focus isn't a bad car.

Yeah, it was my pops car. My pops started to drive my moms car, then we got money from her and we paid it off.

 

So I got it for free.

You can try Audio Express if there's one in your town. The guy hooked me with brand new Kenwood speakers in the front and back of my car for a nice deal along with a Sony Xplode Car CD Player since I wasn't looking to spending too much at the time. Its worth taking a look and trying to work out a price deal at least.

If not, there's always a local stereo shop in any decent sized town/city. You could also go to Best Buy, as they have decent stuff.

If you know anyone who has a bodyshop, you can probably steal some out of a totalled car.

No, really. My stepfather owns one and jacked some $400 6x8's out of a totalled Volvo. My car fucking thumps now.
