Velocity preview for April 3, 2004

The action heats up on Velocity this week when Billy Gunn and Danny Basham meet in a singles match. Although it is scheduled to be one on one, will Doug Basham find a way to interfere and make it a Handicap Match? Find out on Velocity.

Also in action on Velocity, Rico will meet Jamie Noble and Orlando Jordan faces Brent Albright.

Also on Velocity, don’t miss all of the highlights from SmackDown! this past week when Kurt Angle announced the creation of the Great American Award and Eddie Guerrero had a memorable encounter with Bradshaw. Don't miss it!

All of this and more on Velocity, airing Saturday night at 10/9 CT on Spike TV!

Confidential preview for April 3, 2004

On Confidential this week, meet one of the most inspirational WWE fans ever known, as Kyle Maynard is profiled. Like many WWE fans, young Kyle is a high school senior whose love of WWE is so great that he competes in amateur wrestling at the scholastic level and is a four-year member of his school’s wrestling team. The difference with Kyle is that he was born without arms or legs. Don’t miss this amazing story on Confidential this week.

Also, WWE fans everywhere are still buzzing about the return of The Rock to WWE for WrestleMania. The People’s Champ is a busy man this week as his new movie, “Walking Tall,” premieres with much anticipation in the entertainment community. On Confidential, check out all of the highlights from the “Walking Tall” premiere and then go Outside the Ropes with The Rock.

Confidential also presents a behind-the-scenes look at a recent photo shoot involving World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit. The master of the Crippler Crossface was featured on the cover of the April issue of RAW Magazine, and Confidential joined him for the photo shoot. Don’t miss it!

All of this and a classic match from SummerSlam 1994, when Bret Hart faced Owen Hart. It all happens on Confidential at 11/10 CT on Spike TV!

Wow, Velocity looks horrible. Where has Paul London been lately? He has an awesome match against Noble and he just dissappears? Confidential looks decent though.

I thought just Rico was drafted, not Jackie?

They were traded for Palumbo and A-Train.

Meltzer said Palumbo had heat with some SD guys and they wanted to get Jackie in the bikini contests and such.

Noble's actually got tights now, and Rico just violated him.

Ah yes, thanks.

Match is shit-tastic so far. Damn.

During the last segment, I saw a dude get up from his seat, walk up to the barrier, take a picture of Jackie's ass with his camera phone, then walk back to his seat and high five his friend. :)

LOL! I'll have to go back and look on my tape for that.

It's a double knee back breaker that "Hurricane" John Walters does in the indies. Like an Edge-o-Matic down onto your knees.

Ah, haven't seen much Walters since most of the ROH stuff I have is before he came in. Thanks for the info.

A new favorite Rico of mine to add to my list.

In case anyone is wondering my other favorite Rico matches are:

Rico & Rikishi Vs. Billy & Chuck - Judment Day 2002 :P

Rico Vs. Rey Mysterio - August 27, 2002

Rico Vs. Ric Flair - September 16, 2002

Rico Vs. Goldust - Insurrextion 2003

Chris Jericho & Trish Stratus Vs. Rico & Miss Jackie - December 1, 2003

Rico Vs. Steven Richards - March 15, 2004

Rico should start using Sudden Impact again.

The Spin Kick just doesn't cut it out. I have get to used to the Double Knee Breaker now, so much for the Neckbreaker he was using a few months ago.

No OVW matches? Rico's OVW work blows away anything that he's done in WWE.

I was at this live. Rico pinning Flair = greatness.

He beat him clean didn't he?

*Unfortunately, doesn't have the match as part of his collection on his computer

uh, I'm kinda glad I didn't see that one.

And as for Josh bringing the smarkness, that's why I've always enjoyed his announcing. Once when the SATs (Joel and Jose) wrestled the Bashams, he mentioned Amazing Red.

Ref was distracted, Flair turns around, spin kick, IIRC.

I didn't know that Jimmy Yang was a Flying Elvis.    is "Enter the Yang" one of his finishers?

Seriously? I'm not drawing much sarcasm, though I'll throw this out for anyone who didn't actually get the joke.

Flying Elvises (or Elvi) was the name of tag team Yang was briefly a part of in TNA.

He was Yang in WCW as a part of the Jung Dragons.
