WWE Backlash will be headlined by a Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H World Title match. Although it isn't confirmed, the match is still expected to be a ladder match. Other matches will be Chris Jericho vs. Christian, Kane vs. Edge, and Mick Foley vs. Randy Orton. Logic also says that Shelton Benjamin could be added to the main event of the show, or be in line for a title shot on RAW the next night. Chris Benoit is expected to retain the belt for a variety of reasons including the fact that the show is infront of his hometown fans of Edmonton, as well as the fact that Triple H will be gone following the PPV to film a movie.
