Yes, I'm back with another one of these. Quite frankly, my style doesn't work for the ones I did before, back after about a month, it get's quite repetitive. Anyway, the scenario here is all matches will be done via SD: HCtP via Computer simulation. The only time a match will be played by me is to make sure a Champion doesn't lose to a jobber by mistake.

 

I did a random draft of the wrestlers and CAW's (male only) to make up a roster for RAW & Smackdown. The draft was pretty random but I used the "cheat" mode to make sure tag teams weren't split up and Cruiserweights were mianly on Smackdown.

1. Tag Team Championship Tournament Match #1

Too Cool II vs. Big Show & A-Train

Basically a Squash Match when Show and Scotty were in the match. Rikishi made the save a few times but Show finished Scotty off with the Final Cut to advance to the Semi-Finals of the Tournament.

Winner(s): Big Show & A-Train when Show pinned S2H (5:30) 3/4*

 

2. Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match #1

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho

Back and forth match between the two which had a few near falls from Cena. Jericho's experience pulled him ahead as he pinned Cena with the lionsault.

Winner: Chris Jericho via pinfall (7:00) *1/2

 

3. Tag Team Championship Tournament Match #2

Los Guerreros vs. Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik

A Very good match with clashing styles. The Evil Foreigners had the match won on several occasions on Chavo, but Eddie was able to tag into the match at the right times to keep the match going. Volkoff only spent about 1 minute in the match and was enought to put Chavo out. Sheik finished him off with the under-hook suplex with only about 1:00 left inthe time limit.

Winner(s): Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik when Sheik pinned Chavo (14:03) **1/2

 

4. Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match #2

Rob Van Dam vs. Matt Hardy

Rob Van Dam's careless attempts to put away Hardy cost him the match as he missed the Frog Splash on two occasions. Hardy was able to hold on and pin RVD with the Side Effect. Pretty boring match but nothing bad.

Winner: Matt Hardy via pinfall (12:21) **1/4

 

5. Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match #3

Test vs. Bam Bam Bigelow

Bigelow controled most of the match but Test was able to make the big comeback and put Bigelow away with the Test-Drive to advance in the Intercontinental Title Tournament.

Winner: Test via pinfall (6:16) *1/4

 

6. Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match #4

Edge vs. Scott Steiner

One word describes this match. SQUASH. Edge literally got ZERO offense in here as Steiner just dominated the Canadian. Steiner was able to hit the Belly-To Belly-Suplex with ease to pin Edge in the quickest match of the night.

Winner: Scott Steiner via pinfall (2:52) 1/2*

 

7. Tag Team Championship Tournament Match #3

Undertaker & Kane vs. Dudley Boyz

Nothing match here. The Brothers Of Destruction massacred the Dudley Boyz with power offense and Taker pinned D'Von with relative ease with a Chokeslam.

Winner(s): The Undertaker & Kane when Undertaker pinned D'Von. (5:55) 3/4*

 

8. Tag Team Championship Tournament Match #4

Shawn Michaels & Kevin Nash vs. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair & Batista

Match of the Night and the Main Event of course. Michaels & Nash had the match won just about with Flair in the ring, but Batista was determined to keep the match going. Michaels took a vicious beating from Evolution near the end of the match, and Batista was able to put him down with the Batista-Bomb in the biggest upset of the night. Mark out moment for me to see HBK finally job to someone.

Winner(s): Batista & Ric Flair when Batista pinned Shawn Michaels (10:24) ***1/4

WWE Smackdown! Episode #1 (January 4th, 2004)

 

1. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Christian

Duggan shockingly controlled the match for the majority of it, but Christian was able to use his speed to put Duggan away with a second rope Tornado DDT for the win.

Winner: Christian via pinfall (6:43) *3/4

 

2. The Hurricane & Rosey vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team

In a shcoking upset, the Hurricane and his S.H.I.T were avle to suprise everyone with a huge win over the WGTT. The match was almost all WGTT until Rosey came in and planted Haas with a modified side slam. Rosey was able to pin Haas following a Big Splash to advaqnce in the tournament.

Winner(s): The Hurricane & Rosey when Rosey pinned Haas (11:43) **1/2

 

3. Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Mr. Perfect

Short match here as Perfect controlled 90% of it. Bret made a token comeback but Perfect was able to apply the Perfect-Plex for a three count.

Winner: Mr. Perfect via pinfall (3:23) *

 

4. Rey Mysterio Jr. & Billy Kidman vs. Rodney Mack & Mark Henry

Pretty good match considering the heel team's lack of talent. Mysterio was able to hit some high impact moves and connected with the 619 but Henry was able to recover and give Mysterio a Big Splash to pick up the duke in a tough match.

Winner(s): Rodney Mack & Mark Henry when Henry pinned Mysterio with a Splash (10:32) **

 

5. Rhyno vs. Sean O'Haire

Lot's of brawling in this match. See-Saw battle with a lot of countering, but Rhyno was able to put O'Haire away with a Gore from out of nowhere to advance.

Winner: Rhyno via pinfall (4:39) *

 

6. The Stampede Bulldogs vs. Tajiri & Jushin Liger

Nice mat-based sequences in the match. Dynamite Kid was pulverized in the heels corner for a good portion of the match, but was able to kick out of a running Liger-bomb and take over and tag in to Benoit. Benoit went wild on Tajiri with the rolling german suplexes while Liger & Dynamite brawled outside. Benoit was able to connect with TWO swan-dive headbutts on Tajiri for the victory.

Winner(s): Stampede Bulldogs when Benoit pinned Tajiri (8:42) **1/2

 

7. Lance Storm vs. Kurt Angle

An extended squash for Angle. Storm was able to get in some token offense and locked Angle in the sharpshooter, but Angle's amatuer background kept Storm grounded for most of the match and was able to connect with the Angle Slam for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Kurt Angle via pinfall (5:31) *3/4

 

8. Booker T & Goldust vs. The Road Warriors

Very good match in a few words. First 8:00 saw The LOD take Goldust apart with brutal impact moves. Goldust was able to withstand Animals powerslam and Hawks neck breaker to make a VERY good and well timed hot tag to Booker T, who unloaded on both Road Warriors. Booker dominated Animal and was able to nail the axe-kick but for only a two count. The LOD made a brief return on offense but Booker was able to Book-End Animal for the 1-2-3 in the center of the ring.

Winner(s): Booker T & Goldust when Booker pinned Animal (12:05) **3/4

WWE Velocity Preview For January 6th, 2004:

 

The Cruiserweight Championship will be decided in a Six-Pack Challenge when Rey Mysterio Jr., Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, Billy Kidman, The Hurricane, and Jushin Liger step into the ring for some high flying action. The last man remaining will be the champion. Elimination only occurs via pinfall & submission.

 

Also In Action you'll see Val Venis take on one of the US Title Tournament Losers Sean O'Haire. O'Haire is looking to bounce back from the loss to Rhyno he sustained on Smackdown.

 

You'll also see Marty Jannetty face Rico Constantino in a match to see who wears the fruitiest ring attire. Both men will be making their debut's so a win will put one of them up in the ranks.

 

WWE Sunday Night Heat Preview For January 7th, 2004:

 

In tag team action for SNH's Main Event "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase teams up with Bam Bam Bigelow to take on the duo of Jake "The Snake" Roberts and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in a Legends + 1 one.

 

In action Jamie Noble will try his luck in the ring as he is scheduled to face the monster Kane in singles competition. That's the last time he disrespects Ultimo Dragon I bet.

 

Finally, in a semi-re-match from Raw Is War, Scotty Too Hotty will be in singles action to take on the A-Train. I don't like Scotty's odds but he might win....

WWE Velocity Episode #1 (January 6th, 2004)

 

1. Marty Jannetty vs. Rico Constantino

Quick, Inoffensive opening match. Rico controlled the middle portion with his unique offense but Jannetty was able to come back and win it with a super-kick and the Rocker Dropper.

Winner: Marty Jannetty via pinfall (4:04) *1/4

 

2. Val Venis vs. Sean O'Haire

These two men had a clash of styles with Venis' ground-based wrestling against O'Haires martial arts and impact attack. O'Haire was able to kick out of several pin attempts near the end and was able to pin Venis following a top rope super-plex.

Winner: Sean O'Haire via pinfall (6:49) *1/2

 

3. (Vacant Cruiserweight Title; Elimination Match) Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Tajiri vs. Billy Kidman vs. The Hurricane vs. Jushin Liger

Great Match, but too much action to keep up with. Here are the eliminations: 1. Jushin Liger pinned by Tajiri followed by a mist shot to the face and the Buzzsaw Kick (5:32). 2. Rey Mysterio Jr. pinned by TheHurricane with a back slide (9:11). 3. Billy Kidman pinned by Ultimo Dragon followed by an Asai Moonsault (10:46). 4. Tajiri pinned by The Hurricane following a Ultimo Dragon Tornado DDT from the second rope (12:34). 5. The Hurricane pinned by Ultimo Dragon followed by the Asai DDT. Ultimo was double teamed in the end by Tajiri & Hurricane but Hurricane was put down with a Hurricanrana and Dragon connected with the DDT on Tajiri leading up to his elimination. Ultimo & Rey had a very nice sequence in the middle portion of the match with no clear cut advantage, while Kidman nearly shocked everyone with near pinfalls on all the other competitors. Ultimo Dragon though was able to survive everything from a mist to the 619/West Coast Pop. In the final sequence, Hurricane almost had the match won but Ultimo was able to block the Hurri-Slam to set up the Asai DDT.

Your shows are good but do you really need a tournament for every title?

Yeah. Otherwise it's me picking whoever I want for a 1-on-1 match. Saves the biasness. I could easily say.....OK I want Angle as my Champ. Let me stick him in a match vs. someone who sucks so I know he wins.

 

I still don't know how I'll decide the World Champions, but I'll likely do it with one match like the CW Title.

 

 

Edit: I was favoring Ultimo to win, but I let the CPU play it out anyway. If Kidman pinned him, I would've been pissed.

Sunday Night Heat Episode #1 (January 7th, 2004)

 

1. Kane vs. Jamie Noble

The match lived up to the expectations of all...a quickie for Kane to add another notch on his belt. Noble tried hard in the first ten seconds of the match but Kane put him down with a big boot and it was all down hill from there. Kane put Noble away with a Powerbomb followed by a Chokeslam for extra punishment.

Winner: Kane via pinfall (2:01) 1/4*

 

2. Scotty Too Hotty vs. A-Train

Both men had their respective tag team members in their corners, but it wasn't going to make any difference. A-Train controlled the majority of the contest with his brute strength but Scotty was able to get in a few shots now and then, but the size of A-Train was too much to over-come. A-Train was able to put away Scotty with the de-railer in a relative short time.

Winner: A-Train via pinfall (4:12) 1/2*

 

3. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase & Bam Bam Bigelow

A clash of old school wrestlers in this match lead to some decent action. Bigelow was looking to erase the lose he suffered from earlier in the week versus Test, and controlled the action until Roberts was able to catch a desperation DDT. Piper & Roberts continued to pummel both men until Roberts was able to catch a groggy Bigelow with a short-arm clothesline followed by a second DDT for the win, and to add onto Bigelow's losing streak.

Winner(s): "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Jake "The Snake" Roberts when Roberts pinned Bigelow (6:19) *3/4

In this weeks Main Event, the team of Shawn Michaels & Kevin Nash hope to wipe the slate clean of last weeks heart breaking loss as they challenge Evolution leader Triple H and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase in a big tag team confrontation.

 

Also scheduled for action will be Eddie Guerrero facing "Mr. 0-2" Bam Bam Bigelow, as well as a battle of legends between Jake Roberts & Sgt. Slaughter.

 

Edit: The results are almost done, I just need to wait for the Mets/Expos game to end to finish up.

WWE Raw Is War Episode #2 (January 8th, 2004)

 

1. Eddie Guerrero vs. Bam Bam Bigelow

Definitely not one of Guerrero's better matches. Mostly punchy-kicky match with Eddie ending up on top with a submission win thanks to the Laso From El Paso.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero via submission (4:53) 1/2*

 

2. Legends Match:

Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Sgt. Slaughter

A Good, slower paced mat-based wrestling with brawling. Roberts had luck against him as he gave Slaughter the DDT, but the referee was knocked down moments earlier. Slaughter was also unlucky as he applied the Camel Clutch but Roberts' feet were in the ropes. End came when Slaughter caught Roberts off the ropes with a powerslam.

Winner: Sgt. Slaughter via pinfall (7:35) **

 

3. Intercontinental Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

Test vs. Matt Hardy

Bland match with too much Test to make this one special. Test pretty much dominated the whole match and busted Hardy up on a snake eyes. Test ended up winning the match with the running big boot of doom.

Winner: Test via pinfall (6:02) 3/4*

 

4. Intercontinental Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

Scott Steiner vs. Chris Jericho

Another bland match, but at least it was fairly balanced. Steiner tried using his strength to put Jericho away but Jerich prevailed with his non-stop working of the back and eventually getting the win with the Walls-of-Jericho to advance into the finals.

Winner: Chris Jericho via submission (5:21) *1/4

 

5. Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

The Undertaker & Kane vs. Big Show & A-Train

Holy Sh*t this was a complete waste of time. Kane controls the entire portion he has with Big Show until A-Train gets the tag in. Undertaker tags in quickly and disposes of A-Train with a Tombstone Piledriver....the ONLY offensive move of the night on him, for the win.

Winner(s): The Undertaker & Kane when Taker pinned A-Train (2:02) DUD

 

6. Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

Evolution vs. Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik

A Decent match overall, something unexpected really from these guys. Batista & Flair managed to control most of the match with a combination of power and ground wrestling. Batista caught Volkoff with a powerbomb early on but Sheik was able to break the count at 2.9999. It wasn't long though before Batista caught The Iron Sheik with a Batista-Bomb for the 1-2-3 in the center of the ring.

Winner(s): Evolution when Batista pinned Iron Sheik (6:47) *1/2

 

7. Main Event:

Shawn Michaels & Kevin Nash vs. Triple H & Ted Dibiase

I don't know whats up with all the quick matches this time. Nash spent only about a minute in the ring and tagged in Michaels to get slaughtered. An out of the blue pedigree was all that was needed to turn the tide for good as Dibiase & HHH systematicaly took Michaels part with the trio of fist drops followed by another to pedigree to secure the win for Trips & Ted.

Winner(s): Triple H & Ted Dibiase when HHH pinned Michaels (5:25) *

WWE Smackdown PREVIEW for January 11th, 2004!

 

The Road To The Tag Team Titles Continues...

Last Week on Smackdown we saw several upsets, which lead to the Hurricane & Rosey to face the Stampede Bulldogs, as well as Booker T & Goldust to face the furrocious team of Rodney Mack & "The Worlds Strongest Man" Mark Henry. The Winners advance to the Royal Rumble PPV for the finals of the Tournament.

 

Also this week the United States Title Tournament continues on with the Semi-Finals, with the Finals taking place next week on Smackdown. In Semi-Final action you'll see Kurt Angle take on Mr. Perfect and former friends Rhyno & Christian battling it out for a slot in the finals.

 

The NEW Cruiserweight Champion, Ultimo Dragon will be in action, taking on fellow country-man Funaki in Non-Title action. The Rules for a non-PPV title match are as followed. For someone to gain a Title Match on a SD/Velocity, the Challenger must first win a match vs. the champion in a non-title match. If so, then the next week the two meet again for the Title on the line.

 

For PPV Title Matches, if a challenger isn't found, a special #1 Contenders Match will be the deciding factor, either a 4-Way Elimination or 6-Pack Challenge. It sounds like a bad idea, but I feel it will work.

 

In a Special Six-Man Tag Team Elimination Match, The Worlds Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) team up with Randy Orton to take on the trio of Lance Storm, Tajiri, and Stevie Richards. The only way to win is to eliminate all three of the opponents wrestlers.

 

And finally in a special THREE-ON-ONE HANDICAP MATCH, Goldberg get's punished for sucking by facing Brock Lesnar and The Road Warriors! Why is it punishment? Cause I hate Goldberg and want to job him out.

 

All this will take place this week on Smackdown, as the Road to the Gold continues!

WWE Smackdown! Epsiode #2 (January 11th, 2004):

 

1. United States Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

Christian vs. Rhyno

Quick opening match dominated completely by Rhyno. Christian was able to avoid gore attempts on several occasions but a lariat by Rhyno was enough to keep the Canadian down for the 1-2-3, and advance Rhyno into next weeks finals.

Winner: Rhyno via pinfall (5:08) *1/4

 

2. United States Title Tournament Semi-Final Match:

Mr. Perfect vs. Kurt Angle

Perfect pulled out all the stops here but Angle was able to hold him off for most of the match. Angle used his various suplexes to ground Perfect and it was only a matter of time until Perfect tapped out to Kurt Angles Ankle-Lock to give him the victory by submission.

Winner: Kurt Angle via submission (3:55) 3/4*

 

3. (Non-Title Match) Ultimo Dragon vs. Funaki

Funaki took an absolute beating in this match, as Ultimo continously worked the legs with those stiff karate kicks. Funaki got in a bit of offense but nothing was able to stop the Dragon. Ultimo was able to lock in the Dragon Sleeper and finish Funaki off with the Asai-DDT for the victory.

4. Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Finals Match:

Goldust & Booker T vs. Rodney Mack & Mark Henry

Booker & Goldust were able to keep the match at their pace and avoid having to muscle up with the Black Attack. Rodney Mack almost had the victory sinched when he applied the Black-Out on Goldust, but Goldust was able to reach the ropes at the last minute. Booker needed THREE book-ends to finally put Mark Henry down for the three count.

Winner(s): Goldust & Booker T when Booker pinned Henry (5:44) *

 

5. (6-Man Tag Team Elimination) Tajiri, Stevie Richards, Lance Storm vs. Randy Orton, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin

Match of the Night definitely here. Team ECW controlled the early minutes of the match, with match-ups of ORton/Richards, Haas/Tajiri, and Benjamin/Storm domianting most of the time. Elimination #1 came when Charlie Haas was able to force Stevie Richards to tap out to the Haas Of Pain at 12:17 to put his team up 3-2. But the celebration was short as Tajiri caught Haas in the face with the buzzsaw kick to even things up 2-2 at 12:35. Benjamin & Orton took more punishment from the stiff-ness of Tajiri and Storm until Orton connected with the RKO on Storm for the three count at 15:11. Tajiri by himself held his own pretty well and was able to pin Orton as well with the buzzsaw kick at 16:45, taking it down to him vs. Benjamin. Irony struck Tajiri though as Benjamin came in quickly with a super-kick, knocking Tajiri out and allowing Benjamin to get the final pinfall at 16:59.

6. Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Finals Match:

The Hurricane & Rosey vs. Stampede Bulldogs

Pretty good match here, but nothing special or anything. The Bulldogs cut the ring in half with Hurricane in their corner, but the Hurricane and his S.H.I.T were giving them a run for their money. Hurricane caught Dynamite with the Hurri-Slam, but Dynamite's upper-body strength allowed him to kick out at a two count. Benoit came in the put Hurricane out and did so with the use of the Crippler Crossface.

Winner(s): The Stampede Bulldogs when Benoit made Hurricane tap-out. (7:11) **

 

7. One-on-Three Handicap Match:

Goldberg vs. Legion Of Doom & Brock Lesnar

Goldberg did his best here, holding off the three as long as possible, and even putting Animal down with a nasty spear. But the numbers game caught up with him as the three monsters were able to systematicly take Goldberg apart. Brock was able to connect with the F-5 to finish off Goldberg once and for all in a relatively short time.

1. Marty Jannetty vs. Sean O'Haire

Quick opening match with a clash of high risk versus watered-down WWE style. O'Haire was on offense for the majority of the match with his martial arts offense and different types of slams and suplexes. Jannetty was unsuccessful in pinning O'Haire with the super-kick and was disposed of soon after with the Widow-Maker slam.

Winner: Sean O'Haire via pinfall (3:38) *1/4

 

2. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Val Venis

Very good match here, with Venis trying to ground Mysterio with his submission wrestling and Mysterio keeping the match fast-paced with lightning quick attacks. Mysterio was unable to win with the 619/West Coast Pop finish, but settled for the mahistral cradle for the three count out of nowhere to end it.

Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr. via pinfall (8:45)

 

3. (Non-Title Match) Ultimo Dragon vs. Billy Kidman

Much, much, MUCH better than the Smackdown match between Ultimo and Funaki. Kidman held his own very well here keeping Ultimo down with lighting fast strikes and hurricanranas. Ultimo went for the DDT early but Kidman prevented it and clipped the knee to keep the match going. Kidman kept up the action but missed the SSP, allowing Ultimo to come back. Ultimo proceeded to beat the shit out of Kidman with kicks and fast arm drags. Ultimo was able to apply the Dragon-Sleeper but Kidman was too close to the ropes. Irish whip to the corner and Ultimo connected with a running dropkick followed by a top rope super-plex. Moments later Ultimo connected with the Asai-DDT for the 1-2-3 to prevent another title match.

Winner: Ultimo Dragon via pinfall (11:46) ***1/4

 

4. Hardcore Rules; Tornado Tag Team Match:

Tommy Dreamer & Stevie Richards vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team

Another clash of styles, but a very entertaining match. The WGTT based their offense on grappling and takedowns while Dreamer and Richards were quick to grab some chairs and wail away on Benjamin & Haas. Dreamer was able to connect with his Death Valley Driver on Benjamin but it was too early in the match to keep him down. The end came with a unique double win position. Benjamin nailed Richards with a super-kick for a 2-count while Haas had made Dreamer tap out to the Haas of Pain for the win.

Winner(s): The Worlds Greatest Tag Team when Haas made Dreamer tap-out (6:%3) **

1. Kevin Nash vs. Test:

Pretty boring match that went a little too long to my liking. Nash controlled most of the match and was able to put Test away with the Jackknife Powerbomb.

2. Rob Van Dam vs. Chavo Guerrero:

Very Good, but short match here. Lots of high flying action, as RVD showed how good he can be when not botching shit like in his match a few weeks ago versus Matt Hardy. Chavo got in some token offense but was silenced with Van Dam's kicks and flipping around. RVD was able to get the pin with the Five-Star Frog Splash.

3. Legends Tag Team Match:

Hillbilly Jim & Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Bam Bam Bigelow & Nikolai Volkoff:

One phrase can simply describe the match: Bowling Shoe Ugly. Boring, Boring, Boring match. Nothing note-worthy. Absolutely nothing. If you can't imagine how bad this is, pretend its Taker/Kane vs. Kronik, except worse. So horrible. Bad, Bad, Bad. Hillbilly Jim makes Bigelow submit with the Bear-Hug.

In the finals of the tournament to crown a new champion, Chris Jericho takes on Test in a no Disqualification Match. To get here, Jericho had to go through John Cena and Scott Steiner, while Test had to beat Bam Bam Bigelow & Matt Hardy.

 

Also this week, Jamie Noble will be in action to take on a Debuting Superstar, who also will participate in the up-coming Royal Rumble Match.

 

Also this week, John Cena & Rob Van Dam square off against Los Guerreros, Batista faces The Undertaker in one-on-one action, and we'll get a four-corner battle royale between Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Kevin Nash.

WWE Raw is War Episode #3 (January 15th, 2004)

 

1. "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jamie Noble

Savage makes his debut on WWE Television with a somewhat easy victory over the jobber known as Jamie Noble. Quick match with some sluggish movement on Savage's part, but overall decent. Savage won with a flying elbow drop.

Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage via pinfall (3:13) *

 

2. John Cena & Rob Van Dam vs. Los Guerreros

In possibly the best match of the show, both teams went all out in a Texas Tornados rules match. Cena and RVD kept the match in their favor for most of the match, but the persistant Guerreros kept fighting back until Eddie was able to put away Cena with a frog splash in the middle of the ring.

Winner(s): Los Guerreros when Eddie pinned Cena (13:41) ***1/2

 

3. The Undertaker vs. Batista

In a preview for the slaughter...I mean Tag Team Title Match at the Royal Rumble, the Undertaker easily won the match in just a bit under five minutes by tombstoning Batista after a chokeslam. Hopefully, the same result won't happen at the Rumble.

Winner: the Undertaker via pinfall (4:56) 1/4*

 

4. Four-Corners Elimination Match:

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair

To the shock of absolutely no one, Flair was easily defeated at the hands of Michaels for the first elimination (2:49) leaving it to the KLIQsters. Michaels & Nash brawled for a bit while HHH kept inserting himself into matters. Nash was next eliminated after a pedigree from HHH (7:28). Michaels and HHH kept up a decent match until HHH connected with another pedigree to put Michaels away.

Winner: Triple H (11:09) **

 

5. WWE-Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals:

Test vs. Chris Jericho

Quite possibly the most lop-sided match of all time, as Jericho controlled easily 99.9% of this match and keeping Test grounded with submission holds. Test was able to survive a Walls of jericho attempt, but the Lion-sault was more than enough to make Jericho the winner and new champion.
