Slick also managed Kamala, Nikolai Volkoff, Boris Zhukov, Rick "The Model" Martel, The Warlord, Paul Roma, and Hercules.

Now did Slick really manage Rick Martel or did he only manage him at like WWF Survivor Series 1990 when he teamed up with Power and Glory?I never remember him being Rick Martel's full time manager.

Thanks.

When Rick Martel turned on Tito Santana, Slick managed him for sometime in 1989.

Oh ok I was never sure about that, but thanks for clearing things up for me.

Thanks.

I believe that is it I think we covered them all unless he managed someone other than the Kamala as the Rev. Slick.

Thanks.

The only guy Slick managed as Reverend Slick was Kamala. Yes, he did manage The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff at Wrestlemania 3.

I am pretty sure The Slickster was manager of The One Man Gang but he already counts because of Akeem I suppose.

I also remember classic times of the Rev. Slick on Prime Time with The Brain, Mr P, Gorilla and Hacksaw around the table it was sooo funny.

Anyone remember Wrestlemania 4 when Savage hit the Gang off the tope rope while he was hugging Slick and the Gang fell on top of Slick.  Great wrestlemania moment there.

Yeah I remember that I actually felt somewhat bad for Slick, I mean the One Man Gang is a big guy.

Thanks.

The complete list...off the top of my head:

Nicolai Volkoff, The Iron Shiek (he managed the two with Freddie Blassie for a while, when "The Fashion Plate" was winding down to retirement),  Hercules, Butch Reed, One Man Gang (later Akeem), The Bolsheviks (Volkoff and Boris Zuckhov, who replaced Shiek when he got sacked...again...I think), Big Bossman, Rick Martel, Big Steel Man (ie. Tugboat, though it never aired on TV), The Warlord, Paul Roma (with Hercules as part of Power and Glory)...and then Kamala as Reverend Slick.

There may have been more on a tryout basis.  Looking at it, Slick was never that successful really.  The only one who ever came near a title was Butch Reed, and he lost it when he didn't turn up.  Always thought Power and Glory should have had the tag titles, though.

Lyrics to Jive Soul Bro?

Let's see if I can remember....

Well I met this  lady and I told her quite a story, said I'd love her forevermore.

But the trouble is I tell the same ol' story to every girl that walks through the door.

This is the Slickster talkin at ya honey, yahahahahahha!

Well at first they love me, and then they don't, sometimes they do it and sometimes they won't.

So I said to this girl, hey you get out,

and she got to her feet and began to shout:

You a Jive Soul Bro

A Jive Soul Bro!

And you always lie to your friends!

You a Jive Soul Bro

A Jive Soul Bro!

And you never get nothin in the end!

What you talkin bout ladies?

This is the slickster talkin to ya!

I dont do nothin but tell the truth heh heh heh...

Well they thought this dude might learn a lesson

but I didn't learn a thing at all.

Why late that night I was out there messin with a lady that was 7 FEET TALL!

NOW THAT WAS A BIG WOMAN!

So I said hey there baby, spend the night at my house?

She said "No way you JIVE LITTLE MOUSE!"

I said hey there baby can't take no more?  So she threw me on the floor in a figure four, singin...

You a Jive Soul Bro

A Jive Soul Bro!

And you always lie to your friends!

You a Jive Soul Bro

A Jive Soul Bro!

And you never get nothin in the end!

----------

Scary that I know the words to that.....

Yeah, that was a great moment.

I also found it quite amusing to see Slick dancing in the ring to Butch Reed(?)'s theme at WM4.

a couple more:

Slick showed up with Zeus for at least one of his promos before the flash-in-the-pan was handed over to DiBiase...

Also, Reverend Slick managed Jake Roberts for one show for NWA Southwest about a year ago.

And before his WWF stint, he managed Mad Max and Lord Humongous (not sure which versions of either of these guys) in Texas All-Star Wrestling.

I assume Jimmy Hart wrote Jive Soul Bro, but I'm not certain. Hart wrote the majority of the entrance music around that time.

I know Jimmy co wrote Real american, the greastest them of its time (since 90% of themes until 1997 sucked ass)

I was thinking the same thing.Who wrote this song?!?!I mean when you read it I could actually picture people sitting around and writing this as a joke and cracking up the whole time and then it turns into one of the most famous and funniest WWF theme songs of all time.

Thanks.

Maybe not the most famous but its great.

Slick is like a sterotypical black pimp, thats basically the point of the song.
