Michrome Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Eddie right now is nowhere near as good as Vader once was. More and more I'm seeing that Eddy is only a shell of what he once was. Outside of the Brock and Rey matches, his defenses have been average.
Guest Nater Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 All it takes is bradshaw to remember and perfect 3 move sequences, if he can go bigger than that.. fine. Throw out about 7 of them in the first 5 minutes and the match will look great, after that eddie can get busy finishing it. It's possible, but not probable.

Outside of the Brock and Rey matches, his defenses have been average. But mid 90s Eddy is better than anyone in the US now or then. I might even go as far as the 80's. I see Eddy, at the present time, as someone who can not carry limited workers. This PPV already seems like a throw away so they might as well throw a good match as a main event. Have Eddy face Chavo one last time. They could make it a Hell in a Cell and get a few extra buys for people wanting to see the gimmick.
