My computer is spazzing out.

Every few clicks in Internet Explorer, or when I try to open something in a new window, it freezes. I don't know what it is but it is annoying. Any ideas? Is it a virus of some kind?

Run your virus scanner, ad/spy ware scanner, and do a defrag. See if that fixes it. It is kind of a vague problem at the moment.

Yes, run your virus scanner, if you have one. If not, get one (I'd recommend purchasing).

 

Go to the Advanced tab in Internet Options and restore all defaults. Have a play around in that section.

 

A warm-boot and a good kickin' can't hurt, either.

Oh, and if all else fails, call your Internet Service Provider. I'm usually against Help options, but my ISP helps me out every time.
