just 39 homers from 700 and 54 from 715...its possible he could pass Ruth this year which would mean ESPN would go into BONDS 24/7 mode in September..

It's not EA Sports' fault... he's not apart of the MLB Player Association. Plus, that's I prefer the PC version. You can download excellent rosters, load them & start your Dynasty.

I completely avoided ESPN these past two days as their Bonds coverage was getting sickening already over the weekend. I really want to see the ratings for these Bonds' break-ins they do and see if it truly brings in viewers. It seems to turning more viewers off than anything. This is the type of coverage I'd expect, and would accept, if Bonds were going for 755 and 756.

Bonds is know in sacred ground. For how many years have Aaron, Ruth, and Mays been mentioned in the same breath? Been nearly 100 HR's ahead of the 4th place on the HR list? Bonds not only joined the super elite 600 HR's, he know passed One of the Big 3.

I can almost understand them hyping up him passing Mays for 3rd all-time. (And I barely mean the almost ... if you're not reaching #2 or #1, then it's really barely worth getting a boner about.) But why did they make a big deal about him TYING Mays?? Tying for 3rd all-time is even less exciting than passing into 3rd place.
