HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 So, about two months back, I got a DSL modem and set it up. For a few days everything was fine. Then I went on vacation for a week. Over that week, my sister set up a new printer, and a few days later my comp was gone. I tried everything I know, but the problem seems to be a driver titled IPVNMon.sys. I looked up this driver, and other people who had probelms with it said it was either from a new printer, or a new DSL modem. So I'm torn on the problem. I've tried everything, but the comp just keeps restarting before doing anything. The only thing I can think of is just reinstall XP, but I lost everything when I moved. Anyone know anything I can do before I take it into a shop to get looked at?
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted April 19, 2004 You could try buying a router and connecting to your DSL through that. THen you wouldn't need any DSL drivers at all on yoru computer to use DSL.
