Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted April 23, 2004 According to Kris Z, Kawada vs Goldberg for the Triple Crown is set for HUSTLE 3 on May 8th. There are two sides of me who like this, the first side hopes that Kawada still dislikes foriegners so he goes nice and stiff on Goldberg and loosens a few teeth, or maybe legit KO's him like he may have done to Mike Awesome. The second side knows that Goldberg will probably go over, and with Mutoh already saying he's going to wrestle the winner in June in AJPW, Goldberg defending the TC is an easy sellout and hopefully good business for AJPW, and as much as I don't want to see Goldberg with the Triple Crown, I'd rather see that, than not have an All Japan a year or two from now. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted April 23, 2004 I must say that even though I highly doubt a classic encounter would be Kawada/Goldberg but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in the outcome. I really don't wanna see Kawada or Goldberg face Mutoh in June or EVER. But I guess we don't always get what we want anyway(at this point I just want them to put the TC on Kojima), so I guess I am gonna have to go with BT on this one. Goldberg(as much as this pains me to say) winning the TC is better than AJPW not existing anymore...... p.s. - I could just imagine the cashflow that a Sapp/Goldberg match would bring in. Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted April 23, 2004 If All Japan can somehow sign a Sapp vs Goldberg Triple Crown match, then no question that they probably sell out any arena in Japan, with the only exception being the Tokyo Dome (and that could even be possible).
