Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted May 16, 2004 They're legit, they just from China. All 20 James Bond movies come in this one big box, its pretty tight. If you really believe that those DVDs are legit, I have some magic rocks that you might be interested in. Seriously, they may look like ordinary rocks, but they're not. They're magical rocks that keep bears away. They really work too, because I've never had a bear anywhere near my house. Oh, one more thing, Deon. Here's a link that may be useful. Seriously though, that link may be helpful to some people. It's a guide to detecting bootleg DVDs on Ebay, so you don't end up getting screwed over.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted May 16, 2004 I disagree. The video store I go to has a policy "if it's returned damage, you're charged the full original retail price". Now, borrowing DVDs from the local library is a horse of a different color. Not ONCE have I borrowed a DVD that didn't have scratches all over the place. I've never seen DVDs at the city library, and if there are, they'd be educational. I'd say that my video store would also have a policy like that one, because obviously, well, they won't exactly take a disc back if it's snapped or something.
