Guest Cerebus Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Since I'm posting at work, and because I'm lazy, I can't retype this but MAN is this hilarious. I got a letter/pamphlet telling me from something called "We the People Foundation" asking me to donate to their lawsuit and buy their book. They claim, among other things, the XVI amendment wasn't legally rattified (Ohio wasn't a state till 1953 you see), the IRS is a private corporation in Puerto Rico, and that wages aren't taxble income. As the son of a former tax lawyer and an accountant and a worker in the state legislature I had a huge laugh about this and passed it around at work to get plenty of laughs. Anyone else ever get this sort of crap?
