Guest dwdw_IGN Report post Posted April 28, 2004 I just ordered it off of BestBuy.com for about $25 which is EXTREMELY cheap for nearly 10 hours of wrestling. So who has the set and what do you think of it?
Guest Astro Report post Posted April 29, 2004 Good Set for rare matches, but only 3 or 4 are "exciting" or ***+
Tawren 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 It's fun stuff to watch. The best part is having the awesome commentary by Meltzer/Cornette. The matches are mostly decent, and seem to be thrown on randomly with no real rhyme between them. I'd recommend it.
Guest Astro Report post Posted April 29, 2004 Watch Lawler vs Sweetan without the commentary....ugh
Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 I have the set, and I love it. Most of the matches aren't that great, but that isn't what this set is all about. This set is about the history of wrestling, nostalgia, etc... Meltzer and Cornette are great with the commentary. This DVD set is one great big learning experiance. Guest JJW Report post Posted April 29, 2004 The set is great and after watching it you'll wonder why we haven't seen more shark cage matches.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 The set is great and after watching it you'll wonder why we haven't seen more shark cage matches. I was actually more apt to ask that question before I saw the shark cage match, personally. Oh wait, that was sarcasm, wasn't it? Still, this set is definitely worth the money.
