I haven't been regularly watching the Simpsons in a while, but I tune in occasionally to see if it still sucks (which it does). The last time I watched it, it gave me ONE laugh. There are TONS of shows out there that suck in my opinion, and I just don't watch them. Should I have gone into that Friends thread with a post about "the show sucks, I hate it, it's barely funny"? Would NEVER miss an episode, and if I did, I'd kick myself for it. but now - well, let's just say that 90% of the time I forget that it's even on.
