Eh, TakerMark, if you're going to steal all your quotes from Powerslam magazine at least give credit...

Powerslam? What's that? And I'm just keeping the thread alive !

I just remembered one from Lawler three years ago, during the start of the Test & Stephanie relationship:

"Careful Test she's married"

-Jerry Lawler

Does this sound strange to anyone.

I was watching "Battle Royal At The Albert Hall" over teh weekend and it contained some awful lines.

Earthquake - "You know how long the boat ride is from America to London? Real far, that's why we took a plane..."

Mean Gene - "And with my birthday coming up in a coupla weeks, I can't think of any better present than a couple of tickets to Suburban Commando!"

I bet he'll be shilling til the day he dies...

Knowing Mean Gene he probably wanted to see it.  I mean after all, Hulk Hogan was the star of the film.

Alright, i can't believe this one from Backlash, the ultimate double entendre immediately after the austin/taker debacle. Cole shows Flair the footage.

Flair: Shit.

JR: Well that just about sums it up right there...

Roddy Piper was the master of the whacked-out promo.  This from WrestleMania 2, before his boxing match against Mr T.  Read it with Piper's up-and-down, high-and-low voice mannerisms.

(Blows kisses, points to dimples in his cheeks) "I'm cute!  I'm gonna-- (giggles, becomes serious) "I grew my hair long.  That way during the fight tonight you can tell the difference between me and T.  I figured some of you out there may get a little confused.

I have got the absolute best coach in the entire world to train me.  I been down with Spinx training.  With Spinx training.  He went and got Smokin' Joe Frazier in his corner!  Are you ribbing me?  He threw a medicine ball at my belly! (wags his finger) Didn't move an inch, I'm down to 219lbs. (squawks something indecipherable)

So you say talk's cheap.  So you say Roddy you're sitting there talking.  I say this to you.  I say if Mr T can knock me out in this fight right here I would not only quit professional boxing, I would quit and retire professional wrestling, I would quit tiddlywinks, I would quit dating girls! (turns and hugs Bob Orton) I'd stick with you! (mumbles--"that doesn't matter")  I'd quit it all!

I right now say if he can knock me out I'd retire.  And I will stick my head out there round after round after round.  I'm gonna stick it out there cause as pretty as it it, he's gonna shoot some punches.  I'm gonna be moving like that (ducks to the left) just like coach taught me.  He's gonna shoot some more (ducks to the right), I'm gonna be moving like that.

And another thing.  You know Mr T, I know you're a smart alec, you come out with the jokes, but let me tell you something:  Never will I shave my head like an Indian and paint myself black!  Too-hoo!"

What the hell was that boy smoking?

Incidentally, does anyone have transcripts of the Hollywood Blonds 'Flair For The Old' or the NWO parody of the Four Horsemen interviews?

A nice Big Show quote I stumbled across

“Married life is good. Bess (his wife) is a good friend and my teammate. She is good looking and has one hell of a figure. Before this interview, I was looking at your page 3 girls, and one of the guys said that one of the girls had Double-F breasts, but they were just Double-D. I told him: ‘Trust me, mamma’ at home has got bigger.’” - the Big Show, in an interview with the United Kingdom newspaper The Sun, when asked regarding his wife. Thanks to the Observer for this gem.

He sounds like he was drunk during the last one and a half sentences.

I don't understand what they hell the Big Show is rambling about there.  Crazy drunk.

I think he was trying to say that girls in America have bigger tits or his wife has bigger tits but it still doesn't matter cuz Big Slow sucks.

Don't ever let this thread DIE!

I thought that but it was said very weird. It was probably because of the quotes. If the paper didnt make a mistake there and he actually said it like that, he might of been drunk. That still is something pretty odd to say in the newspaper.

From last night's Raw:

Booker T: And if Big Bird and Spider-man ever got busy...you would be the illegitimate....lesbian. AHHHH ha ha ha! Ha! Ha ha ha ha ha!

and

JR: Watch Dark Angel. It's the episode where Lita broke her neck in three places!

Man, that was just so so so bad.

Guest dreamer420

That was horrible taste.  I feel bad for Lita and JR shouldn't be the little shilling whore that he is when something bad happens to someone.

Was this maybe around the angle they did where the Undertaker married Stephanie when she was tied to the "symbol"?? So in that context Lawler may have been playing up that angle with that statement.

"I'll bite your ass, uhh I mean he'll fight your ass!"

-JR refering to Stone Cold Steve Austin.  I forgot when this happened.

I read this one on Wrestlecrap, that needs to be explained.

"Doo doo is good for me, and doo doo is good for you"

Saturday Night's Main Event 1987 Hershey Park, PA

After the Hart Foundation assisted the Honky Tonk Man in beating up Macho Man Randy Savage and holding him while smashing him over the head with a guitar, they were interviewed backstage, and Gene Okerland goes off and claims that "your sneak attack on the Macho Man will go down as a day that will live in infammy with the likes of Pearl Harbor" uhhhhh yea.  Bret and Jim make fun of Gene and he says he is done and drops the mic.

On the same tape, although I believe this was some of those local promos they would do for area house shows, Gene is interviewing Savage about a match with Hercules at the Boston Garden, and after hyping the match, Gene comments on something that Elizabeth had said she noticed with Randy,

"uhh.. how do i say this... she said you had gotten spunky, yea spunky"....." oooh yea spunky gene, i got that spunky momentum going for me, dig it"

Now that was scary.
