Terri Runnels Talks About Leaving WWE, Her Future, More

Posted By Ashish on 05.03.04

Former WWE diva speaks out.....

The Voice of Wrestling radio show, www.voiceofwrestling.com, had a big show this past Sunday with special guest, Terri Runnels. Terri was scheduled for the week before, but the hosts had called her twenty minutes late due to a couple segments going a little longer than expected and unfortunately, Terri had prior commitments at that time and was unable to do the interview. She agreed to come back on this week’s program, but not without ragging on hosts Chris Chisum and Brandon Clark for their tardiness the week before.

Here are the highlights:

- Chris Chisum got the rough end of the badgering by Terri as she tells him he doesn’t know how to treat a woman like Brandon does.

- She’s not able to speak much about leaving the WWE due to contract constraints, but she did confirm she left on good terms.

- Sorry…Terri’s not jumping to TNA. She kills any speculation on that subject claiming she loves Jeff Jarrett and many of the guys working there, but it’s not in the cards.

- There is a possibility she may be starting a reality television show based on dating that is similar to the advice column, “Raw Sex”, she used to write for Raw magazine. If all goes well, the name Terri has planned for the show is “Making it with a Diva”.

- As far as the “Plane Flight from Hell” is concerned, Terri says the only embarrassing moment she recalls is Dustin Runnels (formerly WWE’s Goldust) singing love songs to her over the loud speaker.

- She defends Ric Flair’s comments that he made during an interview last week regarding the reporter asking whether he preferred being a “heel” or a “face” by stating that maybe the reporter asked the question in some sort of condescending way as if he had actually accomplished things in the business, which in fact he had not.

- Terri’s “old school” mentality shows more as she rants about the internet and how it has hurt the business. Shame on those people who open their mouths and shouldn’t. If it was more like the entertainment business where journalists and critics reported more on the real-life things that the wrestlers did outside of wrestling, it would be okay, but why fans would want to know spoilers and what happened before shows air is what she doesn’t understand.

- She never felt more pressured as a woman to do things with the WWE compared to the men in the business because she felt it was best on her part to do what the boss asked of her, even if she didn’t necessarily agree with it.

- When talks switched to her daughter, Dakota, Terri expressed her feelings on Dakota following in her footsteps and becoming a wrestling diva. Her initial response would probably be “Oh, my dear God, no”, but if Dakota ever came to her and said it was a dream of hers to be in wrestling, Terri would of course support her. Right now, Dakota is going the equestrian route as she show jumps horses and Terri hopes she stays with that!

Terri continues with the interview as she also explains why Buh Buh Ray Dudley owes her another trip to the tables, her past as a make-up lady for Larry King Live, and Dustin Runnels himself even interrupts the interview with a phone call for his daughter, Dakota! This 50-minute interview is definitely worth the listen and you can hear it in its entirety, plus other great interviews with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, RVD, Chris Jericho, Sable, DDP, Dustin Runnels, and many more. The Voice of Wrestling airs live every Sunday night from 6-8 EST with a live chat room available to submit your questions for the hosts and guests throughout the show.

So she does not like the internet, yet does a show that will only be heard over the internet to try to promote her stupid ass show. Go fuck yourself you 80 year old piece of shit.

so shed rather have rumors spread about her that are behind the scenes rather than people just wanting to know if they can miss a show or not?
