Who wants to watch WWE Womens wrestling period?

The sad thing is, I wonder this all the time. I understand that there are people that wanna see the T&A but honestly, who really wants to see them wrestling?

Again, since i'm a fan of the division, i'spose i'll have a go at answering this too. Basically, the matches aren't too bad, the biggest problem with the division is that most of the girls are not very polished in the ring and fuck up a lot of moves and the two girls who are very good workers (Molly and Jazz) spend most of their matches bouncing round selling their asses off trying to make the likes of Lita or Victoria look good. I don't really look at matches as whether they're womens or not, i just look at them as whether they entertain me, maybe because I know that they're capable of having a half decent encounter if given a chance, WCW's short run at attempting a womens division in 1999 on WCW Saturday Night is proof of that. The likes of Mona (now of course known as Molly), Brandi Alexander, Little Jeannie, Malia Hosaka and Dee Dee Venturi all were having some pretty good matches, not MOTY calibre but solid 7-8 minute **, **1/2 matches on a regular basis. There's even been glimpses of that since with a few matches we've seen in the last year or so, Molly and Victoria vs Ivory and Jacqueline from Heat last June was a good heated 10 minute old school tag match, Molly vs Trish from Heat later that month was another good little match and Molly vs Ivory from Heat in November was another pretty good matchup, which told a good staory and had some nice exchanges between the two (shame they couldn't reproduce it at Armageddon a month later). Hell, look at Molly vs Victoria from WM20, even though the crowd wasn't really into it, which was understandable since there was no buildup to it, the match itself was pretty good, shame it only lasted 4 minutes.

I guess all i'm saying is that there are some people out there who enjoy the matches on top of the T & A and that some of the ladies can wrestle some decent matches if given half a chance.

The enter is key is your friend, but you make a good point though. There are a FEW people who will watch the womens matches and say it's good, but in my eyes, I don't see it entertaining. Most of the women have the same move set, none of them can throw a real punch to save their lives, and the only time a crowd is behind the wrestlers is for a "We Want Puppies" chant.

I have to admit the women's match on raw this week wasn't bad at all and I dug the ending because I wasn't expecting a submission hold.

 

Plus it seemed they actually got more time to DO something this week as opposed to two minutes or so.
