MS Windows XP/Java screwup

I can't access Java based chat rooms (gametz.com) and such, it says i need 'Java Virtual Machine' and i have a Java runtime thing already installed, whats the matter?

Uninstall Java and then go to http://java.sun.com and reinstall.
