Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 I keep getting this message when I attempt to use the audio file. Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly. I'm almost certain it's not functioning properly. If someone who could please help me getting the audio to work. It would be greatly appreciated.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 You can try uninstalling and reinstalling your sound card if you have the drivers for it. If not go to the sound card manufacture site and download before reinstalling.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2004 Where do you go to find the name of the sound card manufacturer?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2004 There's also a chance that your sound card doesn't allow you to play sounds from two different sources (e.g., Winamp and AIM) at the same time. That's an old Win98 problem I used to have.
