Reign of the Dead

I went to the Pittsburgh Comicon a couple weeks ago and picked this up and I picked up the follow up to it as well(Apocolypse End:Reign of the Dead). I finished the first one a couple days ago and it was awesome, and I just started the second one today........

Bumped, not because I've read the comics, but because I've recently heard of two zombie novels which I've seen spoken of warmly, and was wondering if anyone has read them and might be able to offer their opinion: "The Rising" by Brian Keene, and "The Dead" by Mark Rogers.

 

I'm interesting in getting some opinions on them; I've read all sorts of horror novels, but I don't think I've ever read one that dealt with zombies a la Dawn of the Dead, etc.

Hey, I haven't read any of the ones that you listed, but I might have to check them out. I've finished "Reign of the Dead" and I will be finishing "Apocalypse End: Reign of the Dead" any day now. I HIGHLY recommend these for horror/Zombie fans out there. Check them out, and Vyce, if I do check out the books you mentioned I'll let you know how they are.
