What's A TAR File ?

I just downloaded an Album. I want to burn it, then delete it to free up space. But when I run my Create CD program, all my other music (MP3) comes up, and the album doesn't.

 

Is there anyway to convert the TAR File into MP3 ? Did that even make sense ?

Additionally to complete support of RAR and ZIP WinRAR provides basic operations for CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR and ISO (CD image) files created by other tools: view contents, extract files, show comments and archive information. You do not need to have any external programs to handle these formats.

Just use WinRAR to open the file, the only thing you have to worry about now is if it has password protection.
