JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2004 The WWE changed their webcast system - it's now at www.wwe.com/ppv - and even if you were registered at shopzone, you have to register again, here. Also, it says this: "The viewing of Pay-Per-View video is tied to your unique registration (e-mail address and password) and is not tied to a specific computer. You must, however, watch the entire "live" event from the same computer." Does that mean no more "pooling together" to watch a PPV?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 15, 2004 Probably...as if I'd even watch the webcam of this show. I still say pooling in....i.e 90 people begging for people to post the passwords to view, is wrong.

True...but I'd chip in a few dollars for 4-5 people to watch the show. But I doubt I'm going to pay 18 bucks to watch Judgment Day, with it's horrible lineup. Guest sanyo Report post Posted May 15, 2004 WWE knows people pool in so they simply as any company would, stopped it! However, this event is not even worth the penny under my sofa. Boycott this piece of shit. The WWE needs to be taught a lesson of not fucking up Smackdown or killing the brand extension. Things like boycott lead to companies having to solve problems. Unfortunely, wrestling fans never get it so we're stuck with shit. Just for once boycott this event and hopefully the buy-rate will be low enough for them to not fuck around again and improve Smackdown. Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 15, 2004 People do the same fucking thing for the actual PPV tv viewings. Are they going to come to every door and tell the group to disperse and stop pooling the money? Then go to every Hooter's and BW3s in america?

Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 15, 2004 How hard can it be to find the 13 people who accidently hit BUY on the Screen and ordered Judgement Day and fell asleep during the intro package?
Guest sanyo Report post Posted May 15, 2004 If they can crack online, atleast its doing something. Obviously they will never go after homes. BOYCOTT JUDGEMENT DAY!

Guest ConchairtoHead Report post Posted May 15, 2004 I think they are doing this to rule out ONLINE pooling. They dont mind if 5 people put in for a PPV on TV, cos your still online watching it on one TV. But online, all you need is a password and 50 people can watch, its kinda different. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2004 I don't think they have a problem with 5 people sitting around one computer screen and watching it.
