Of course, they couldn't do that since both men are still rather limited. tbondrage99 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I agree and you have to remember that both John Cena and Rene Dupree are still both very young and still have alot to learn in the business but they are putting forth the effort to learn so there only going to get better in time. PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I found that match to be OK, miles better than anything Dupree has done to date and with only one horrendous blown spot (the clothesline over the top). Dark Age 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I didn't care for it. It wasn't bad, and they did try but there didn't seem to be any real flow or story to the match. It only got decent once they started firing off the near falls. All the back work was just pointless and served only to waste time. You could tell that it wasn't going anywhere and was being used as a stop gap for the finishing sequence. Still, it wasn't really bad or anything. Cena's crossbody bump to the outside was cool, and the ending was neat, so it didn't really bother me. Both guys need a better moveset, however. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's a shame there's no decent heels on smackdown, (now Chavo is well and truly dead) cos with someone to carry him Cena would be HUGE, but Dupree certainly surprised me, that match is shocking on paper.
