NYU 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 I'm actually really looking forward to the show. Most of the matches have been built up very nicely, and I'm honestly unsure of some of the results. Anyway.... OAOAST Title Match Zack Malibu vs. Crystal WINNER: Zack. It's way too soon in the Thrillogy stable history for Crystal to already win the title. But I do think she'll eventually get the Heavyweight Championship. Just not this Sunday. Ladder Match for the X-Division Title AJ Flaire vs. Rick Edwards WINNER: Rick Edwards. Despite J. Arthur Edwards being banned from ringside, I still see some shady things going on in this one. Plus, with his new nasty attitude, I think Rick's going to be able to pull this one out. New X-Division Champ. Tag Team Title Match Black T vs. The Global Party Exchange WINNER: Black T. They just won the Tag Titles a few weeks ago, and they look to be the champs that the division will be completely built around. Puerto Rican Title Match The Mad Cappa vs. Drek Stone WINNER: They're both such amazing athletes.....I......I......I just don't know who to choose...... European Rounds Match Sly Sommers vs. Calvin Szechstein WINNER: Calvin. This is one of the toughest matches to predict, but I feel this has the makings to be a Thrillogy-dominated night. I'm picking Calvin with some possible Hoff interference..... Empty Arena Match Tha Puerto Rican vs. Columbian Heat WINNER: Tha Puerto Rican. Colombian Heat is good, but PR is just that much better. A good feud so far, it could easily carry another month. Tag Team Title Match Black T vs. The Global Party Exchange Jivin JR does a strip tease and the match is thrown out. Or something. Puerto Rican Title Match The Mad Cappa vs. Drek Stone Drek~! Rick has been hot right now, so we'll say him. Tag Team Title Match Black T vs. The Global Party Exchange Not to ocntradict NY, nor to disrespect Black T, but if I was building a tag division, I'd build it around the GPX. BUT, the money is in the chase, so I'll go with the champs to retain. Puerto Rican Title Match The Mad Cappa vs. Drek Stone Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Drek came away with it since Cappa's not around, but Cappa has been hot as hell lately, and I could see him going on a long run with the title. So well pick Cappa to retain. European Rounds Match Sly Sommers vs. Calvin Szechstein You know, I do know some things about this match but I genuinely have no idea who's going over. But I'll pick Cal to upend Sly in a match Sly chose, to set up further feudage. Empty Arena Match Tha Puerto Rican vs. Columbian Heat PR NEEDS the win here, to regain some momentum after losing to Cappa.
