Who else could join the nWo?  They needed someone else, and there's no one else better on the roster.

You had to know this was gonna happen, given the previously unexplained monster push of Big Show over the past few weeks, and continuing the theme of Flair "inadvertantly" screwing Austin...

What is so with Big Show being in the nWo?

He is pretty big, and could be used as a monster heel.

I guess it IS true... when you're NWO... you're NWO "4-Life".

Sorry... cheap heat.

I'm telling you, there really is no other good choice for someone new in the nWo.  The only thing is, all the "new" members that have been added since they've come to the WWF have all been members before.

To be written her six months from now...

Oh My God!  Hardcore Holly has turned on Big Bossman and defected from nWo Black and White RAW to join nWo Smackdown Wolfpack!

Everyone complains about the nWo being stale and a non-factor, then when they try to shake things up, everyone goes nuts!  Jeez, the WWF can't win with you guys.

Booker T could've joined but that negates continuity once again.  Damnit man, are the writers and bookers still high off of RVD's pot bags he left behind after 4/20??

So...they chose Big Show over Michaels. The man who no one has given a shit about since early 2000 over the man people have been begging to make a comeback for the last 4 years. The biggest jobber in the history of sports-entertainment over the icon himself. See why I love the WWF?

I do not see why having Big Show join the NWO is so bad.  I mean, heck, I find the whole thing to be absurdly entertaining.  It reminds me of what I missed about WCW.

Hogan as champ... uuugh...

I just don't think he's entertaining. At all. He was when I was five, and now he's not.

Jericho was robbed!!1!11!1!1!!1!

Oh, Raw. Right...

...uh...

Well, I didn't see the Show turn, so that's good. At least it was a surprise.

Flair better stay the face in this little Austin squabble, because he's right all the time. Austin's being a jackass about everything - the mistake, and even before when he just didn't like Flair's booking. Flair's the good guy, damnit!

That BookerDust promo was absolute gold (no pun intended). They should keep teaming for a while.

That Regal/Stasiak "match" was a hoot.

That's all.

I really love doing Raw/Smackdown PBP with you guys... it's always fun.

I would be here earlier (I probably would have started the thread) but a lot of times I'm talking to girl-friends (notice the dash!) during Raw and since I use fucked-up dial-up I don't have two lines, so blah.

*thinks to himself*  Why did I just rant like that?  Why did Big Show join the nWo?  Why does treble charged have good points?  WHY?  WHY?  WHY?

Think about it this way:  You're the WWF, you have this big monster of a man that you've switched from face to heel so many times, that people have lost all interest in him. Also, you have a faction that is supposed to be "killing" the WWF, yet are not over enough to fued with anyone besides Bradshaw.  Why not put the two of these things together and see if you can catch lightning in a bottle?

Mr Perfect would of been a good choice to join the nWo, so when is Boss Man going to start the B Team?

What are the odds of Sting (or nWo Sting?) swinging from the rafters sometime this year?  I'll say 2-1 as of now...

BTW, does anybody else smell some WWF 98-style booking coming up with Flair, Austin and the nWo? For example: Austin wants to know if Flair is in cahoots with the nWo but he denies it, but the nWo come out and say that he is, and then there's a bunch of speculation around whether or not Flair's in the nWo's pocket.

After my bitching earlier about how Hennig has no purpose and therefore has been less then motivated in the ring,  why didn't they choose him to put back with his former NWO brethren? Anybody is better then the big Show.

wait, wasn't Big Show the fifth member in the last NWO?

Really? That's weird then. Back when I thought wrestling was a "redneck's show" I asked a friend who liked it what the NWO was all about and his answer was "a bunch of guys from the WWF invading WCW."

Big Show was never previously from the WWF prior to '99, unless I'm poorly mistaken. I've never heard of him in it, anyway, and if he was truly Vince would have made him a goofy cliched character ala Issac Yankem.

UNDERSTOOD?

What the fuck is about?

tell X-Pac to get some pants on. I don't think he'd have a chance against Big Show either

What the hell are talknig about?

The scary thing is... I can do that.  (Van Dam Lift that is)

Cool. How long did it take you to do?

Ah fuck me, my tape died.

Were you using a two hour tape? That never tapes an entire Raw.

"I am the Alph-uh, the Omeg-uh and THAT-UH, DAMN-UH, GOOD-UH"

When did HGH say this?

Someone needs to teach Angle how to pronounce "angina" correctly.  It's pronounced "an-jeye-na".

I think you can say it either way

Booker T. would have been a bad choice... I think the WWF is slowly working to turn him face... hopefully.

200 BABY!  :D

Well, it took me mostly all of last summer to learn.

The hard part really was getting used to the fucking pain--I've always been damned flexible.

If someone would ask me to do the "full-splits" I couldn't just do it slowly because I can only go half of the way when I try.  I have to get a running start, and land like on a bed or something and bam there you are... Van-Dam Lift Baby!

I don't think my balls will ever be big enough for me to try to lift TOO much weight while doing it, though.

The big Show will not make them better . He is a dead weifght who they should of fired along time ago.

I don't think the WWF really appreciated the way Hall attacked when he first came back (or so people said).  Hall has been doing great since he's came back, IMHO.

Who did he atack????!!!!

Damn man you are new. You never watched WCW? This is Big Show's first run in the WWF.

Oops... sorry.  Attacked should have been acted.

Fucking typos.  :)
