Sabu vs. Ruckus not to happen in 3PW

Recommended Posts

3PW lists Sabu vs. Ruckus as taking place on their June 19 show at Viking/Alhambra Hall in Philly, but according to USA Pro owner Frank Goodman, Sabu told him that the USA Pro show that day is the ONLY show he's working on June 19. Goodman's comment can be found at http://usapro.addr.com/Forums/showthread.php?threadid=1926. 3PW is still promoting the match, though, on their web site at http://3pwrestling.com/events.htm . So, do you think it's a case of miscommunication between 3PW and Sabu, of false promotion, an angle that's being planned, or what? Either way, it appears Sabu ain't working for 3PW that day...

I'm pretty sure USA Pro is running an afternoon show that day, with 3PW running during the night. There's a few other 3PW people working the USA Pro show (Striker, Slyk, April, Kruel).

According to Goodman, though, Sabu ain't working 3PW. USA Pro is the only show he's working that day. That's what Goodman says. Whether he's lying, I can't testify to that, but from what he's saying, it doesn't sound as if Sabu is one of those people also working the 3PW show.

it is just a case of sabu going back to being sabu. sabu has a long history of double booking himself and then no showing the promotion which is paying him less with no advance warning.

Who in their right mind would even pay to see Sabu wrestle?

Yeah, I guess it's got to be quite a sight seeing a guy blow every spot he even attempts.

Seeing battle scars like that up close and personal...it doesn't get anymore real than that, when it comes to pro wrestling.

I'm not paying good money to see a guy that was washed up in 96. If I want to pay money for a scarred up wrestler I'll go see Masato Tanaka who at least is still a wrestler and not garbage like Sabu has been for the past decade.

Hey, your loss. Nobody in their right mind would pass up Tanaka, either, including me, but you can't get what Sabu does from any other indy wrestler out there, and in a year or so, you're not gonna get to see Sabu anymore, so you might as well see him while you still can, unless you've already seen him live.

Oh don't worry..........

Eric Watts will easily fill the void for blowing spots.

I saw Sabu tear shit up recently with Jerry Lynn in 3PW live. He is still worth the price of admission.
