Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I'm glad they aren't using the Starrcade name. Using names of lesser PPVs is fine, but NWA/WCW's "Wrestlemania" should stay a retired NWA/WCW PPV.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I wouldn't call Great American Bash or Halloween Havoc "small", both were pretty major shows for WCW if you ask me.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 maybe as well start calling it Monday Night Raw is Nitro
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I wouldn't call Great American Bash or Halloween Havoc "small", both were pretty major shows for WCW if you ask me. Bash is greater and had more of a WM feel to it, since it has been around in the NWA days since the early 80's late 70's
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Yeah but neither are on the level of Starrcade, which is what I meant by lesser. If WWF was the one to go belly up and WCW took it over, Wrestlemania is the only PPV that should be off limits.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 maybe as well start calling it Monday Night Raw is Nitro I prefer the name I saw on the sign Monday Night "RAW is SUCK" Anyhow, I'll be glad when they bring Havoc back. It was always my favorite WCW PPV. Beats naming it Fully Loaded.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Yeah, except that Raw has actually been good the past couple of months.
dubq 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 About freaking time they use that name. It was the only name of a PPV I liked. But why on the 19th? Why not closer to the 31st? Even better reasoning, the 19th is a Tuesday. WTF?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Using "Starcade" would be like using "November to Remember", it just doesn't feel right for the WWE to touch either name. I'm more interested in the prices for these shows than anything else. If they are both 34.95, that's some overpriced bs that has got to hurt them badly.
