Guest Askewniverse Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I'm still curious why it's called the BENOIT STORY... when it's just a collection of matches...there's not a history piece on him or anything...really strange named dvd. Benoit's a wrestler - his story telling takes place in the ring. Besides, there hasn't been confirmation regarding the format of the DVD.
Tawren Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I'm still curious why it's called the BENOIT STORY... when it's just a collection of matches...there's not a history piece on him or anything...really strange named dvd. Because it has a main feature? The matches are extras.
Guest Choken One Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I didn't notice that...I just wanted to see the goodies they gave us is all...can ya blame me? I wonder how vicious Benoit tears up WCW...
ChrisMWaters Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I'm just surprised they decided to put the WCW title match on there for some reason.
Guest Choken One Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 exactly since the match had NO historical signifance at all...
Lil' Bitch Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 It wasn't touched on but will Benoit be introducing these matches ala Foley? I hope so, but then again, even Brock's DVD didn't have any fucking commentary from Brock himself...
Guest Choken One Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 who would want to listen to brock introduce the matches "Uh this is me and um..whose that guy again? Oh yeah, Kurt Angle. We wrestled or something like it. I landed on my noggin hehehe. enjoy the match"
Lil' Bitch Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Well, its HIS DVD, he should have at least given his thoughts on whatever match. That would have been like the HBK DVD without Michaels giving any comments about his matches whatsoever.
Guest Choken One Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 the only dvd that really NEEDED the intros was foley's because foley gave good details about them... His intro for the Sandman was very cute.
Guest wildpegasus Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Well, its HIS DVD, he should have at least given his thoughts on whatever match. That would have been like the HBK DVD without Michaels giving any comments about his matches whatsoever. It looks like Benoit will be giving his thoughts on the Japanese matches as one of the alternate commentaries has him as one of the commentators.
Guest Choken One Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I still don't get why Melenko is doing it and not Guerrero...(for their match)... You'd think they try to get a more charismatic "talker" to do it but i guess they felt melenko knew the content more then neone else would save for those two themselfs.
Guest Basswitch Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Benoit vs. Great Sasuke was probably the best match that i've ever seen I'll buy this one.
