Prediction for the rest of the year?

 

Edge eventually reunites with Christian and both feud with Jericho until Benoit loses the belt and comes back to help him, and we have ourselves a tag feud, while HHH and Orton feud on top. Loverly, and yeah, it's an educated guess.

Face Edge as a dork = makes him look like an idiot because it's not entertaining.

 

I don't know how this will work though. Edge hasn't really been a singles wrestler heel ever in WWF/E. His only heel run(s) were in tag teams.

That Desire chick looks alright just based on those bios. A few months in OVW training with Laree and they could both be fairly acceptable additions to the Women's Division.

If Vengence is Benoit/Edge...Whats the rest of the card since HHH is making movies and Shawn is taking time off to rest and be with new born child...

It'll be interesting to see Edge as a heel and how he works compared to his last heel run. I do expect Edge to be better as a heel when he turns than what he was before he turned face. Edge is going to be hungry to prove himself at Veangance and we're going to see that hunger pay off in his work.

 

Really, once Edge couldn't use his old Rob Zombie music I think he was screwed as a face. His current music doesn't fit his pump up the crowd bit when he starts his entrance.

I still don't get why just don't go with the proven Jericho for Vengence.

It really looks like they got in for Jericho. The week before Veangance is even in Winnipeg! Benoit vs Jericho in a heavyweight title match can easily become the best match in WWF/WWE history but they won't do it. An extreme optomist would say Benoit's going to beat HHH at Summerslam and than go to face Jericho later on but the realist in me says there are some people in power who don't want that to happen.

 

Interestingly enough as now it looks like we have an Edge heel turn this puts an end to one of the possable Wrestlemania XXI main event matches. That of course being HHH vs Edge unless of course they decide to keep Edge face. Otherwise I can't see them doing it. The Wrestlemania XXI main event on the Raw side is really up in the air.

Chris Jericho also suffered an arm injury when Tomko dropped a knee on him on the 5/26 show in Dublin as well as a bad neck. His luck continued as he got busted open right above his right eyebrow on 5/28 in Birmingham and needed five stitches. He worked with his ribs taped on the last two nights in the U.K., but that was a work to sell the table injury spot since Raw aired on Friday night there. He didn't miss any time.

God Vince is retarded. He's bringing all these green OVW guys with less than a year of experience, and it won't be too long before one of these hosses kills a world class worker like Jericho...

 

Hopefully this Tomko douche takes the Batista route and gets better, or the Nathan Jones route and disappears forever.

Actually, both Tomko and Mordecai have been around a while, Tomko has at least 3-4 years experience and Mordecai over 5, so it has nothing really to do with OVW, it's just these guys have no idea of how to work in the ring. Although looking at Batista's (considerable) improvement and the fact that Matt Morgan of all people, has become reasonable as of late, gives me hope for Fertig and Tomko.

Triple H is taking the title back, which will sow the seeds for the eventual rift between himself and Randy Orton which is set to culminate at WM21 in a World Title Match. If anything, it'll be like the HHH/Goldberg feud. SummerSlam 2004 will be as Survivor Series 2003. Everything thinks HHH is taking the title back, but shockingly, he doesn't and then will wait until No Mercy, Halloween Havoc (or whatever they're going to name the Tuesday October PPV), or Survivor Series to take it back.

 

Of course, he could just take it back at SummerSlam, but I think it would put Chris Benoit over huge and make his title reign complete if he got a clean win over HHH at SummerSlam. Then I wouldn't mind HHH taking the title back.
