Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 The game comes out on the 22nd, I believe. There are A LOT of gameplay movies and screenshots out there and the official trailers are at the site. So... 1. Will you buy? Why or why not? 2. What new features are you most excited about? 3. Who will you play Season Mode as? Why? 4. What CAWs will you create? Why?
Guest Askewniverse Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 1. I'll rent it first. If I like it, I'll buy it. 2. new controls, Bobby Heenan's commentary 3. Bret Hart, because he's probably my favorite wrestler of all-time. 4. Ric Flair, so I can re-create his feuds with Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat. EDIT: after doing a quick search, I found the other "OAO Showdown" thread.
The Buzz Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 . I'll buy it because there is no reason why this shouldn't be the best wrestling game to have come out thus far. They've spent so much time on this game, that I just would hate to see them disappoint. 2. The Era Based Season Mode 3. Sting-My all time favorie. Ultimate Warrior as well. 4. Great Muta, Raven, The Outsiders, Ric Flair
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 1. I will buy it. 2. I'll play through as Bruno, Hart, or Sting 3. I'll create Ric Flair, HBK, UT, HHH (Circa 2000), The Rock, Double A, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, and Demolition
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 1. I most likely will buy. 2. New control scheme and the era-based season mode. 3. The Ultimate Warrior, baby! 4. I never know until after I've bought the game.
AndrewTS Posted June 13, 2004 Report Posted June 13, 2004 That music video playing in Gamestop is quite boss. Sure, they probably only chose that song because the lyrics include "Piledriver," but Quiet Riot is a guilty pleasure of mine.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 13, 2004 Report Posted June 13, 2004 I'll rent it, assuming I can. LOWII was MIA in this city for rental, and I didn't care at all for LOW enough to buy the game and see if it improvedany. Speaking of GameStop, when made a trip to Michigan last week, I noticed they had the slogan "Where it All Begins... Again" all over their store to promote Madden 2005. Good to see wrestling fans running a gaming store and using a copyrighted slogan.
