Lance Storm Q&A

Recommended Posts

I Should be getting paid for this.... :P

Q and A

June 7, 2004

Q: Are there too many backstage or "entertainment" segments on the show, and not enough in ring work?

A: This is completely a subjective answer. It all depends on what you like. The only true judge, from a business stand point are the ratings if they are strong then no. For my tastes personally, I prefer in ring wrestling and believe a story can be told between the ropes, so I prefer keeping backstage segments to a minimum.

Q: Who does Christian travel with now?

A: I assume that he still travels with Hurricane.

Q: Do you watch RAW and Smack Down?

A: I make the effort to catch both shows each week. I do occasionally miss one but I feel it important to keep up in case my OVW guys have questions about the shows. If I wasn't teaching I might watch less as it is easier to not miss it by not watching.

Q: Do you watch wrestling in your spare time or try to get away from it?

A: I don't have a lot of free time so I don't really have the choice. I don't watch tapes, but keep up with RAW and SD. I also watch all the OVW shows for work.

Q: Will you watch the new TNA show?

A: I want to check the show out. I haven't seen any TNA yet, but I will likely get one of the boys to tape it so I can check out their Fox Sports show.

Q: Is there a time table for your Bio?

A: Nope none at all. It's not even a sure thing it will ever get published.

Q: Do you own Lance Storm?

A: Yes I've used Lance Storm since my first match so it is mine.

Q: Are you against an on air role in OVW?

A: I have no plans to contribute on air, but I'm not completely against it. It could be a possibility at some point.

Q: Where do you stay in OVW?

A: Are you trying to track me down? I found a good hook up at an extended stay type hotel. I have a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette.

Q: Have you ever been called to wrestlers court?

A: No. I slid in under the heat radar when I joined WWE. Buff had so much no one noticed me. (LOL)

Q: Would you welcome the return of Jeff Hardy?

A: I always liked Jeff. If he was motivated to comeback and had his heart in it, yes.

Q: Does WWE need 2 Tag Titles?

A: I don't think "need" is the proper word. If they didn't have tag titles one of the shows I don't see what the point of that show's tag teams would be. I don't think they need them but I think it is best.

Q: Do you think CM Punk and AJ Styles should be in WWE?

A: I've never seen Punk work and haven't seen Styles since WCW so I really can't say. WWE has a ton of talent already. I think it is more important to utilize the talent that they already have instead of hiring more people.

Q: Have you seen Harry Smith work?

A: I've seen maybe 2 matches of Harry's, but to be honest can't remember much about them, they were a while ago.

Q: What do you look for when you evaluate a future star?

A: The first thing you have to look at is their appearance. I'm not saying everyone has to be 7 feet tall and jacked, but you do have to look the part. From there I look at how well they move; their athletic ability. After that you start looking at their specific wrestling ability.

Q: Would you be willing to lose a match to a non-wrestler? (ie. Bam Bam Bigalow- Lawrence Taylor)

A: I've lost to women Valets, why would I mind putting over a professional athlete? Give me a WrestleMania main event and the check Bam Bam must have got and I'll be more than happy. (LOL)

Q: What moves do you consider too dangerous?

A: There aren't that many moves I consider dangerous. It is usually the person doing them that is dangerous. A headlock takedown can be more dangerous than a stuff pile driver.

Q: Was there a finish you didn't like to take, and was Bill Goldberg's Jack Hammer dangerous?

A: I can't specifically think of a finisher I dreaded taking. I'm pretty good at knowing where my body is and taking care of myself. As for the Jack Hammer, Bill has given it to me twice and always took care of me. I was never concerned for my safety working with Bill.

Keep those questions coming,

Lance

I said it once and I'll say it again...

He sure likes to talk.

I have no plans to contribute

He likes to talk more than he likes to contribute. Is a Lance Storm biography even remotely necessary?
