Guest Real F'n Show

from 411:

- TNA management is currently hoping that Impact! will perform well enough at its current Friday 3PM timeslot that it will be moved to a Sunday 10AM timeslot and serve as pre-football programming for the network. Eventually, the hope is to move into a primetime slot.

- It appears that a TNA action figure line is on the way from Toy Biz.

- Christopher Daniels is expected to be out for six weeks.

Action Figures? REALLY? Are there enough people watching TNA to justify action figures? Are they gonna be like WCW and put out loads of merchandise that nobody wants? (There are still packs of old WCW lighters on the shelfs at a grocery store in my town. Goldberg, Sting, and Big Poppa Pump.) I hope not.

I could see Action figures working. Harris would sell like HOTCAKES~! to all the fat women at the asylum. AJ, Daniels, Sabin and Lynn would all sell well with the Smarks, and Truth would sell well with most of the Marks, juding by crowd reaction to him.

seriously, though. For a major toy maker to sell the toys, they would ship out assloads of action figures. Are there assloads of TNA fans that would buy assloads of action figures? Has TNA even sold 1 D-Lo Brown Bobblehead? How many "Fake Tattoos" have they sold? A Major action figure launch would be ridiculous right now.

Especially when you can only buy the damn DVDs online.

Who said it had to be a MAJOR line? I mean, they could just make the ones that the Smarks (or in house marks) would eat up. I don't think anyone is Calling for a DRay3000 figure here, but AJ, Lynn, Raven, Truth ect would sell.

Was Toy Biz the company that made the old ECW figures?

I believe so. And speaking of old ECW partners TNA could benefit from working with, somebody in the company should definitely be calling Pioneer Entertainment.

No, Toy Biz did not make ECW Figures.

Toy Biz made the WCW line. I actually really liked them, a lot better than the WWF figures that are out today.

They were super detailed, but may have looked a big too "cartoony", some argued.

Still, my favorite figures of all time, because they were made in "comic book toy" style.

If I had some cash, I'd buy the signed D'Lo Bobblehead.

I thought that was a great merchandising idea by TNA, and if they had a larger kid fanbase, they probably would have been very popular.

I assume ( I know..ass, you, me...) that since ToyBiz is a major toy company that they will be wanting to put out major distribution. What I would prefer is that they do a collector's item style line with McFarlane toys. That would be great.
