On the whole, are people rotten or virtuous? I don't see why police or security officials are any different. I'm not commenting on this story in particular because the source is horrible and there haven't been any consequences, but to assume that people are basically good is silly. People --- well, I will only speak for Americans --- ARE basically good. That's it's not outside the realm of possiblity for someone to do something crooked. There ARE bad cops out there, just like with anything. Also considering the vicious leftist bias in the media that we're always so quick to talk about, the possiblity of such an occurance getting blown up huge is pretty likely, should it happen.
