Scroby Posted June 14, 2004 Report Posted June 14, 2004 I just got dvd from Highspots yesterday and I gotta say, damn. The first disc was all kinda basic stuff that I already knew due to reading the book but the second disk blew my fucking mind. This was my first shoot interview I've ever seen so maybe thats why it blew my fucking mind but some of the stuff he has to say will just make you think for a minute. Its a good shoot, I recommand checking this out.
Corey_Lazarus Posted June 14, 2004 Report Posted June 14, 2004 Can't I just read his book again and guess what he'd feel about the current scene? I mean, he's a very bitter old man that was big in the 80's...so I can imagine what he'd think about spotfests.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 14, 2004 Report Posted June 14, 2004 I was actually thinking the sam e as Laz on this one. Is there really anything he covers in his shoot that wasn't in the book? If so, was there enough to really justify ordering the shoot???

I can speak for the Heenan one as I watched it last week. Fucking boss.....I'd recommend it to anyone as a must see.
Guest bort Posted June 14, 2004 Report Posted June 14, 2004 I thought that the Piper shoot was the worst i have ever seen, they do soo much cutting and nothing is really that interesting. My Fav shoots are Jim Corrnettes, Vampiro, bobby the brain and Ravens
Scroby Posted June 14, 2004 Author Report Posted June 14, 2004 The stuff on the second disc of Piper's shoot is stuff that isn't in his book, the first disc is pretty much everything that is in his book. There was stuff I didn't know so thats why it really blew my mind to hear it. I'm thinking about getting Heenan's after my next paycheck. I already read Raven's shoot on here so thats why I pretty much don't want to get it.
Frosty Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 I've seen the Vampiro Highspots one and I thought it was decent, except for the fact that 90% of the stuf he says could be construed as bullshit. *and I have that on paper to prove it* lol
