Styles 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2004 Probably an obvious question, but I want to make sure and figured I'd just ask here since I'm not finding much with google. I want to consolidate some tapes I have, most of which have been recorded in stereo; I want to maintain the stereo audio in the recording, the problem (or potential problem) is I have one stereo and one mono VCR to work with. Now, do I need both in and out VCRs to be stereo in order to preserve the audio or is it still possible even if one VCR is mono (and if so, please let me know whether the mono should be the out or in.) Hopefully that made sense. Please help! Thanks!
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted June 20, 2004 Can you hook your mono VCR up to your stereo?
The Bad Guy 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 Both VCR's have to be stereo. A mono VCR can only record mono, no matter what it's hooked to.
