Lil' Bitch Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 No point in having them there just taking up space.
Guest Ray Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Or use the oft ignored "Merge Topic" option....
Art Sandusky Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I think it's clear his days are numbered. Get it? Numbered?
Guest Goodear Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Normally if I think something needs hammered into the darkness, I close it rather than delete it so that no one runs around asking where their thread went. It also allows me to say why it was closed. I normally close stuff in the first few posts so I don't see the point of the merge since the whole thing was redundant in the first place.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 You could delete the closed topic after 2 days. That way people don't ask where it is. Or you could leave it there. whichever
Guest Fook Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 You could just delete the thread and pm the creator to tell them what you did and why.
Guest Dazed Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 You could delete the closed topic after 2 days. That way people don't ask where it is. Or you could leave it there. whichever Hopefully after 2 days it'll have fallen off the main page, and won't really be a concern any more. Locking, as opposed to deleting offers a couple of advantages - it stops a bunch of "where did the ____ thread go" posts, for one. The other is that it allows people to still view the "legitimate" responses, after the closing.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 and I can use the locked threads to flame people... priorites people!
LucharesuFan619 Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I think it's clear his days are numbered. Get it? Numbered? NO.
