More Movies to Identify for my Column

I'm going away this weekend and have a tight schedule. I haven't even researched any of these like I usually do, but thought I would just start out here to see if I can get any help off the bat.

 

"During a recent discussion on favourite B-Movies, I remembered a film that I saw on late night TV a few times in the late 70s, early 80s. It was about Medusa. The real one, with the ssnakes and everything. But she was only Medusa at night (I think). One guy saw her and managed to get back to his room before he turned to stone, and another guy saw her in a basement and became a statue. I thin k she was a pretyy girl in daylight hours. Any ideas of title, year, availability, etc.? I think it was a Hammer film."

 

"There's a movie I had seen on HBO, I believe it was made for cable or direct-to-video. There's a guy who meets a girl and he becomes obsessed with her. She tries eveything to get away from him. He eventually impregnates her and kidnaps her while making it look like they were on vacation. The guy kills a couple people who get in his way through the course of the film, including an old man on a fishing boat (I believe he drowned him). There's a scene where the girl escapes the cabin she's held up in after it looked like she was losing the baby when in reality she cut her leg. It got the guy to leave the cabin and get help. Her attempt falls short when the guy finds her floating down a river. The film used a lot of split screen ala The Hulk. The movie is pretty brutal and scared the shit out of me. Any idea what the name of it is and if it's at all available on DVD?"

 

"I am going insane trying to remember the name of this film. Have to apologize up-front cuz there's not much to go on.

 

70's, I think. Western "style". A group of men (cowboys? miners?) stumble upon a young girl in the mountains. She says her family/group/wagon train have all been killed. They take her along, but then they too start mysteriously being picked off, one by one, by this unseen murderer.

 

At the end (this is either an extremely hazy memory or one hell of a fever dream) there is one man left, scrambling to protect this young girl from whatever force is out there bent on killing everyone in his group, including him and the girl, he is sure. He turns around, and SHE DOES HIM IN.

 

As the credits are about to roll, the girl stumbles into a clearing ...

where ANOTHER group of men are coming down a mountain, in her direction.

It's so heavy ... these poor bastards don't have a clue what's in store for them, as the horror is about to begin again...

 

Does this ring a bell?!?!?!?"
