From the Vault: JL Boiler Room Brawl

[Guest Aecas]

Thought I may as well post this up for Landon to give hima few ideas. This match didn't win in the end but it'll hopefully give you a few pointers matey.

 

SJL Metal comes back from the commercial break with a bang, the jam packed Mark arena buzzing with the voices of thousands of fans, who have seen several great matches and are eager for more. The cameras pan over the screaming SJL fans, whizzing past sign s and upraised hands before the picture finally converges on the announcers table revealing Judge Ejiro and Annie ready as ever to continue calling the action.

 

Judge: Welcome back to SJL Metal folks, we’ve had three great matches tonight and if you’ve just joined us then you certainly tuned in at the right time as we prepare for our main event!

 

Ejiro: A Boiler Room Brawl, where tonight Viktor Tarakanov, the rightful and deserving SJL World Champion will take on that scythe carrying psycho Aecas. I can confidently tell you right now Judge that this is going to be a breeze for Tarakanov.

 

Annie: Oh wake up and smell what you’re shoveling Ejiro, Tarakanov is concerned about this match and he has every right to be. There are few people I know of who would willingly enter into this kind of match with somebody like Aecas.

 

Judge It’s too late for Tarakanov to worry about that now, Aecas threw down the gauntlet on Crimson and “The Red Rage” picked it up without hesitation.

 

Annie: Serves Tarakanov right for shooting his mouth off, Aecas couldn’t stand that smug bastard anymore than I could. Hopefully he’ll wipe that smug grin off of Tarakanov’s face when he takes away his title tonight!

 

Ejiro: Now who’s shoveling Annie? Tarakanov is not going to lose this match; he’s worked too hard to get that title to be beaten by some overgrown freak with a fondness for garden implements!

 

Annie’s retort is cut off as Funyon starts to climb up the steps followed by referee Eddy long who holds the SJL World Championship belt in his hands, both men enter the ring to a small pop from the fans who can sense the main event getting closer and closer. Eddy Long moves into the center of the ring and places the belt in the center of the squared circle before exiting the ring as Funyon raises his microphone to his lips.

 

Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is the Boiler Room Brawl! For the SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

 

Funyon pauses for a moment as the crowd cheer loudly upon hearing the announcement before raising the microphone once again.

 

Funyon: The rules are as follows, the match will begin when both men have entered the Boiler Room of the arena. The only way to win the match is for the competitors to exit the boiler room and make their way into the ring by any means necessary. The first man to claim the belt will be declared the winner of the match and the NEW SJL WORLD CHAMPION!

 

Funyon exits the ring as the fans get more and more audible, all eyes now drawn to the Smarktron as the cameras cut backstage revealing the huge back of Viktor Tarakanov as he strides purposefully down the corridors of the arena, towards his appointed battleground. The camera swings around in front of Viktor but the Russian pushes the cameraman aside, his face grim and focused as he strides off.

 

Annie: He looks ready for this fight I’ll give him that.

 

Ejiro: Of course he’s ready Annie; you don’t become the SJL Champion by not being prepared!

 

Judge: We’ll see how well prepared he is, he’s going into that Boiler Room second, we know that Aecas is already in that room someplace. Tarakanov had better be careful and not underestimate his opponent in this match.

 

Tarakanov snatches up a steel folding chair as he walks, hefting the weapon in one hand seems to give him added confidence and he accelerates his pace until he slows to a stop in front of the boiler room door. Tarakanov looks at the door for a long moment, taking a deep breath as he reaches for the handle and slowly pushes the door open advancing cautiously into the room, the chair held ready in his hands. The Red Rage pauses for a moment as his hand finds the light switch for the room, he flips it but is rewarded with nothing but an electronic crackle negates that idea as the lights flicker once before shutting off for good.

 

Judge: This stipulation seems to be favouring Tarakanov less and less.

 

Ejiro: He’s not going to let poor visibility stop him Judge. He’s got a chair with him and he won’t hesitate to use it on anything that moves! Aecas had better watch it himself or he could find himself out cold!

 

Annie: But where IS Aecas?

 

Three pairs of eyes suddenly snap back to the monitors as a shadow looms up behind Tarakanov as he squints around the room, partially lit by the dull glow of the emergency lighting. The Red Rage doesn’t see the huge form materialising out of the shadows behind him until its too late….

 

Aecas lunges at Tarakanov slamming his opponent into the metal side of the nearest boiler, cracking his opponent’s head against the steel as he wraps the large fat links of a chain around the Russian’s throat. Tarakanov lets out a yell of pain and shock at the unexpected attack, his arms flailing as Aecas tries to strangle the life out of him with the chain. The Black Angel drags his opponent backwards by the throat tightening the vice around Tarakanov’s neck once more before The Red Rage manages to mount a counter strike. Both hands close around the legs of his steel chair as he bring the weapon up and back behind his head, a meaty smack and the sudden loosening of the chain around his throat a sure-fire sign that the shot found its mark, hitting Aecas squarely in the face.

 

Ejiro: Great counter attack by Viktor Tarakanov!

 

Judge: Aecas may have got the drop on The Red Rage but Tarakanov is already showing that he has been preparing for this match. Even though he was caught off guard he still managed to send Aecas reeling.

 

Annie: And reeling is all he did, it’s going to take a lot more than a chairshot to the face to end this one.

 

Aecas staggers backwards from the shot to his face, Tarakanov quickly taking the advantage as he steps after his now visible opponent the chair rising up and swinging down to impact on the Black Angel’s head with a sickening thwack of steel on skull. Tarakanov raises the chair up once more as he drives Aecas back across the room slamming the chair against the head of the giant Englishman once again, slowly destroying the chair on the Black Angel’s hard head.

 

Ejiro: See what I mean Annie! He’s ready and focused! And more importantly he’s beating the crap out of Aecas with that chair!

 

Aecas continues to stumble backwards under the pounding assault as Tarakanov continues to advance, raising the chair high above his head with both hands as he braces for a sure-fire knockout blow. Before the weapon can fall Aecas’ right hand lashes out, the chain he tried to choke his opponent with earlier flying right into the face of Viktor Tarakanov, the Russian flinches as the heavy metal strikes his face, his eyes closing involuntarily at the impact.

 

As soon as the chain leaves his hand, Aecas springs forwards and dives his shoulder hard into Tarakanov’s gut, his arms wrapping around the waist of the Red Rage hoisting him up into the air. Tarakanov brings the chair down hard on the back of the Black Angel as his giant opponent breaks into a fast run, and dives at the concrete of the walls, crushing his opponent with a huge GORE!

 

Annie: And there's the answer Ejiro! GORE! GORE GOOOOOORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Tarakanov slumps down the wall into a sitting position, his body jerking as Aecas hammers punches into the face of his downed opponent, taking full advantage of the stunning effect of his Gore. Leaning down Aecas grabs his opponent by the head, dragging the Russian back up to his feet and grabbing his left arm pulling hard and Irish Whipping Tarakanov into a group of spare pipes propped up against the wall. The Red Rage goes down hard as metal pipes clatter down all around him, half burying him as the Black Angel continues to stalk his opponent, a sadistic grin plastered over his face as he leans down to grab his opponent once more. As Aecas leans down he is met with a lead pipe to the head as Tarakanov once again seeks to gain the upper hand in the titanic conflict, quickly scrabbling back to his feet and rocking the giant with a huge right cross following it up with a sharp elbow on the return stroke.

 

Judge: And Tarakanov will not stay down!

 

Annie: Neither man is going to stay down in this match Judge; they’re going to keep going until one of them can’t keep up anymore!

 

Judge: A good point Annie and this war of attrition is still in the early stages!

 

Tarakanov grabs the pipe in both hands, smashing it lengthways into Aecas’ chest as he forces the big man back against one of the giant arena boilers, steam hissing from the machine perilously close to both men as Tarakanov tries to keep his opponent pinned. It is not to be however as Aecas’ hands move up to grab the pipe, his eyes locked with Tarakanov’s as he slowly starts to push his opponent backwards, his greater strength showing through as the Russian strains against the power of the giant.

 

Judge: This is not a good plan from Tarakanov; he shouldn’t try to match strength with strength against Aecas.

 

Ejiro: He knows what he’s doing Judge. That’s why he’s the champion; he has a plan for every situation!

 

As if to confirm Ejiro’s words, Tarakanov’s head shoots forwards, the hard bone of his forehead cracking against Aecas’ cheek, the sudden impact distracting the Black Angel long enough for Tarakanov to slam his right knee between the legs of the giant. Aecas roars in pain, letting go of the pipe as his hands instinctively move to his crotch, The Red Rage takes full advantage of Aecas’ discomfort, ramming the pipe into the side of Aecas’ head, taking the big man down onto one knee. Tarakanov kicks Aecas in the side, toppling the giant over onto his back before disdainfully tossing the pipe on top of his opponent, his eyes darting around the darkened room for anything that might keep his opponent off balance.

 

The camera follows Tarakanov as he strides quickly to a tool bench deep in the recesses of the boiler room gazing at the contents of the bench for a moment before seizing a hacksaw and grabbing a medium sized step ladder, dragging both back towards his opponent. Aecas is slowly starting to get back up to his feet, using the pipe as a support, a scraping noise makes him turn around and right into the sharp edge of the stepladder as Tarakanov rams the metal into his opponents face! The Black Angel’s head snaps back in a spray of blood as the sharp metal slices into his flesh, the impact sending him sprawling once again.

 

Ejiro: Ladder to the face! What did I tell you Judge!

 

Judge: Smart move by Tarakanov, first the headbutt and then the low blow and he culminated the attack with that vicious ladder shot to the face!

 

Tarakanov lets the ladder lay where it falls, grabbing the hacksaw and straddling his prone opponent and slowly driving the blade down towards Aecas’ head, the giant sees the tool coming and twists as he tries to avoid the blade….

 

He almost makes it.

 

The Black Angel lurches underneath The Red Rage, and Tarakanov topples form his perch, the hacksaw in his right hand slicing over the right side of Aecas’ face, reopening the scars he gave the giant at their first meeting in the confines of a steel cage. Aecas rolls away from Tarakanov and lurches back up to his feet, one giant hand clamped over the right side of his face as blood runs freely through his fingers. Tarakanov is also back on his feet grabbing the ladder one again, pausing as Aecas takes the hand away from his bloody face and starts to laugh, an evil chuckling sound, as blood stains his teeth and runs down the front of his body.

 

“More Viktor…I WANT MORE!!!!!!!”

 

Aecas practically screams the last three words as he launches himself at Tarakanov, the Russian obliges the Black Angel as he swings the ladder like a baseball bat and cracks the unforgiving steel into the head of the giant, further aggravating the cuts and sending him crashing into a rack of steam pipes.

 

Judge: ....Aecas is mad.

 

Ejiro: No! Ya think?

 

Annie: What is it with big guys being insane? I mean, is it a prerequisite or something?

 

Ejiro: Nah, they're just dumb.

 

Annie: So you're saying Viktor is dumb too?

 

Ejiro: ...

 

Tarakanov lunges forwards stabbing the ladder into Aecas’ gut and doubling the giant over, the Red Rage steps back for a moment as the Black Angel’s body shakes with laughter. Tarakanov hefts the ladder again as Aecas slowly straightens up, blood covering his face and most of his chest, the dragon that winds around his body looks to be swimming in an ocean of blood, as the giant grins at his opponent, bloody teeth bared in a razor smile.

 

“Was that your best shot?”

 

Stung by this casual brush off of his efforts Tarakanov roars and swings the ladder lengthways finding nothing but thin air as Aecas ducks under the giant swing, grabbing the metal pipe from the floor as Tarakanov brings the ladder around for another attempt. As Tarakanov hefts the ladder, Aecas brings the pipe crashing down onto it, metal crashing against metal as the force of the blow smashes the ladders casing into Tarakanov’s face. The ladder drops from nerveless fingers as Aecas’ next blow rocks the steel, numbing the finger of The Red Rage with its power and leaving him exposed and weapon less. The Russian does the only thing he can, and charges his opponent trying to get close enough to grapple with Aecas as he desperately attempts to get some feeling back into his hands.

 

Aecas throws the pipe away from his and the two men slam together in a hard collar and elbow tie up, Tarakanov forcing Aecas backwards as he gains momentum, smashing the back of the Black Angel against the concrete of the walls as both men strain for supremacy. The Red Rage struggles to keep the advantage as the Black Angel slowly pushes him backwards, the tide shifting as Aecas’ greater strength once again begins to tell. Tarakanov struggles to halt his opponent, bringing his knee up to slam into Aecas’ already bruised gut, the impact weakens the Black Angels hold ever so slightly, giving the Red Rage ample opportunity to break out of the grapple and slam a sharp elbow into the bloody face of the giant.

 

Annie: Both men are beating each other to a pulp in that boiler room, and neither of them have even tried to go for the door yet!

 

Judge: The smart thing to do is to try and incapacitate your opponent long enough for you to get put of that room and ruin like hell to the ring. Tarakanov is going to have to pull something big out of his bag to keep Aecas down long enough.

 

Ejiro: Don’t you be worried about Tarakanov Judge; he’s got more tricks up his sleeves than you might think.

 

Tarakanov forces Aecas backwards once again, slamming punch after punch into the face of the giant, blood staining the fists of the Red Rage as he presses his opponent back against the steam pipes once again. Tarakanov draws his fist back for a huge Haymaker punch and lets out a series of Russian expletives as Aecas dodges the punch and his fist cracks into the metal of the pipe with a clang. Cradling his hand Tarakanov quickly turns to face his opponent and gets a face full of hot steam as Aecas turns the pipes valve! The Red Rage screams in pain and lurches away from the pipes, condensation from the steam covering his skin as he clutches his face with his hands temporarily blinded.

 

Ejiro: That’s unfair! Aecas can’t do that!

 

Annie: Why not? There are no rules in this match Ejiro.

 

Ejiro: He could have permanently blinded Viktor with that stunt!

 

Judge: Again the tables have turned in this match, Tarakanov is once again at a disadvantage and….wait a minute where’s Aecas gone?

 

Annie: Did he go for the door?

 

The Smarktron shows the camera searching the boiler room, and finding the door still securely shut as the view closes in on Tarakanov who takes his hands away from his face, blinking furiously, his skin an unhealthy red colour from the steam bath.

 

Judge: Aecas is still in there somewhere…

 

Annie: And Viktor just got an impromptu case of sunburn!

 

Ejiro: Viktor you gotta get out of there now! Get out of there before he comes back!

 

Annie: I thought you said Tarakanov could handle this Ejiro?

 

Ejiro: He can but with Aecas gone what’s to stop him getting out of there and getting the belt!

 

The answer to Ejiro’s question presents itself as Aecas steps back into view carrying his Scythe in both hands, the blade slices out of the body of the staff as Aecas grins at the look of horror on Tarakanov’s face. Aecas swings the Flick Scythe in a deadly arc as the Russian desperately ducks under the wickedly sharp blade, the Black Angel shows his skill with the weapon as he quickly stops the sweep of the blade and sends the base of the staff darting up to crack Tarakanov squarely on the chin. Tarakanov is knocked down onto his back from the impact and quickly rolls over desperately trying to get back up to his feet. The Red Rage gets up to his knees before Aecas attacks him once again, a huge arm wrapping around Tarakanov’s throat, the giant’s arm trapping the Russian’s head while slowly starting to squeeze off his opponents air supply.

 

“Too late Viktor…far too late…”

 

Tarakanov struggles as the giant’s arm threatens to crush the life out of him, his eyes widen and his frantic struggles increase as he sees Aecas raises the scythe once more, gripping the weapon just below the blade as he brings it closer to the face of the Red Rage with a wicked grin.

 

“I told you Viktor, why be a slave to pain when you can be its master…”

 

Aecas croons to his opponent as he slowly draws the blade of the scythe across the forehead of the Red Rage, keeping his arm wrapped tightly around Tarakanov’s neck as the Russian screams with what breath remains in his lungs. Aecas lifts the sharp blade now edged ruby red with the blood of his opponent and grins as he brings it down once more.

 

“You shouldn’t give in to fear and pain Viktor. Pain is your friend….it must be savoured….mastered….”

 

Ejiro: This is SICK! Somebody get in there and help Viktor! I mean it! Send this psychopath to the nuthouse!

 

Aecas cuts deeply into Viktor’s head once more, the Russians struggles becoming weaker as his air supply is slowly choked off, the Red Rage screams again as the Black Angel starts to cut into his head once more. The Russian grits his teeth against the terrible pain and forces his way slowly back up to his feet, Aecas tightens his grip once more as Tarakanov elbows him sharply in the gut, again…and again…each blow loosening the deadly hold on his neck. Tarakanov wraps his right arm around Aecas’ waist, leaning down and grabbing the back of the Black Angel’s left leg as he heaves upwards in desperation, taking Aecas up and over with a huge Backdrop right onto the fallen ladder!

 

Ejiro: YES! That’s the way Viktor now get out of there and get your title!

 

Judge: That could be the deciding move in this match, but Tarakanov took a hard knock on the concrete from that move as well.

 

Annie: That Soviet bastard had better try and get out of there because I don’t think Aecas is going to stay down for long.

 

Ejiro: Soviet bastard? PLEASE try and be unbiased here Annie!

 

Tarakanov slowly rolls onto his front and starts to crawl towards the door of the boiler room, as Aecas lays on the metal skeleton of the ladder, a mad grin still stamped on his face as his blood soaks the metal rungs.

 

“That’s it Viktor…You’re beginning to understand…”

 

Aecas words seem to spur on the Red Rage as he slowly gets to his feet, trying to ignore the blood pouring from the gashes in his head, Tarakanov stumbles into the wall, using it to support himself as he staggers towards the door of the boiler room the camera observing his progress from its position at the door as Aecas starts to push himself back up to his feet in the background.

 

Ejiro: Go Viktor! Go! Go! Get out of there!

 

The camera follows Tarakanov as he desperately pushes the door open turning around and slamming it shut and bracing himself against it, for several long moments this seems like an unnecessary precaution by the Red Rage, until the door shakes from a huge impact on the opposite side. Tarakanov strains against the door as it shudders again and again as Aecas rages against the wood, eager to leave the room and get at his opponent once more. Abruptly all goes quiet, the impacts against the door cease and Tarakanov starts to cautiously back away from the door, not a second too soon as the huge blade of Aecas’ scythe smashes through the door, scant inches from the face of the Red Rage. Tarakanov jerks back from the door as Aecas kicks it open, standing in the doorway and grinning at Tarakanov as he yanks the scythe from the splintered hole in the door.

 

“We’re just getting started Viktor…”

 

Aecas retracts the blade of the scythe and tosses it down a side corridor where it is caught by a tall gothic woman wearing a leather jacket and matching trousers, a black shirt printed with the form of an angel shrouded in a black cloak and carrying a scythe is visible under the jacket as she hefts the Flick Scythe with apparent ease, her eyes dead white a mirror image of the Black Angel’s. the woman shares a grin with Aecas before turning on her heel and walking down the corridor as Aecas once again advances on Viktor Tarakanov.

 

Ejiro: Who in the hell was that?

 

Judge: I have no idea but she seems to be in league with Aecas. But that’s not the important thing now, both men are out of the boiler room and into the corridors, its now just a matter of time before this fight spills out into the rest of the arena!

 

Tarakanov makes no reply to Aecas as the two men lock horns once more, both battered and bruised, both feeling their blood course down their faces at the hands of the other. Tarakanov meets the advancing Black Angel head on, both men exchanging a savage series of punches, brawling down the length of the corridor until Tarakanov grabs Aecas’ head slamming it against the hard wall of the arena. The Red Rage spins Aecas around cracking his head into the opposite wall before thundering a left cross into the face of the giant. Aecas rolls with the punch grabbing Tarakanov and returning the favour slamming his opponent into the walls as the two men lurch down the corridor finally spilling out into the backstage area.

 

Backstage technicians and SJL security flee from the approaching carnage as both men brawl their way through the backstage area, Tarakanov slams a pair of elbows into Aecas’ head snapping the giants head to one side and then the other. A sharp kick to the midsection drives the air out of the Black Angel as the Red Rage takes the offensive once more wrapping his right arm around the giant’s head, his left arm grabbing the belt of Aecas’ trousers. Planting his feet solidly, the Red Rage heaves Aecas off of the ground and slowly falls backwards as he Suplex’s his opponent onto a stack of wooden pallets, the wood splintering under the combined weight of both men.

 

Judge: Viktor outfought Aecas on that exchange, and it’s but a short walk to victory from here!

 

Ejiro: The end is nigh Judge! And Viktor Tarakanov will remain the SJL World Champion!

 

Annie: He has to get the belt first Ejiro, he also has to get Aecas out of the way first!

 

Rolling off of the pallets Tarakanov shoves a soundman off of his chair, scooping the metal from the floor and folding it up in one smooth move, the Red Rage turns around hefting the chair above his head a murderous light in his eyes. Tarakanov brings the chair down hard on his prone opponent, slamming the metal into Aecas’ body in an orgy of destruction, pulverising the chair on his opponent’s anatomy as the now audible crowd boos thunderously.

 

Tarakanov hurls the shattered remains of the chair away from him, his chest heaving with exertion as he looks down with no small measure of satisfaction at the battered body of the Black Angel. The Russian disdainfully spits a mouthful of blood at his opponent before turning on his heel and slowly starting to walk towards the entranceway as the boos of the crowd get louder and louder. The Red Rage steps through the curtain of the entranceway and into the arena, an arrogant smile stamped on his face despite the pain he is in as he begins to walk down the aisle towards the ring, and towards victory.

 

Ejiro: I told you Annie! Here he comes! Aecas is DEAD and Tarakanov is still the champion!

 

Judge: This match has been a bloody mess from start to finish, and its Viktor Tarakanov who is walking down the aisle to claim the prize.

 

Annie: I can’t believe this match is going to end like this.

 

Ejiro: Its all Aecas fault Annie, he was telling Viktor to push himself to the limit, and when it happened even that scythe wielding freak couldn’t stand up to it.

 

The fans pelt Tarakanov with empty soda cups and popcorn packets but the missiles fail to faze the Russian as he sneers at the pathetic efforts of the fans, continuing his slow march to glory. The crowd, seeing that empty cartons are having no effect decide to try a different tactic as a well known chant begins to reverberate around the arena.

 

“U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”

 

Tarakanov visibly stiffens as the hated chant rings in his ears, he bellows in Russian at the fans nearest him who only chant louder, shouting the words at him, the Red Rage tries to ignore the words starting to walk to the ring once again. The fans vainly chat louder but to no avail as Tarakanov continues to stride towards the ring and the waiting belt his confidence returning as the crowd erupts into boos and jeers once more as he nears the protective mats outside the ring.

 

Judge: Tarakanov doing he right thing and carrying on to the ring, he can’t afford to lose focus now.

 

Annie: He’s going to lose more than focus if he doesn’t turn around! HERE COMES AECAS!

 

The Black Angel charges out from behind the entranceway, covered in both his blood and his opponents as he thunders down the aisle, the fans shaking the building with renewed cheers as Tarakanov hearing the change in the fans quickly turns around and face first into a boot!

 

Annie: YES! YAAAAAAAAAKUZAAAAAAAAA KICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ejiro: NO! Dammit Viktor was so close!

 

Tarakanov is knocked head over heels be the sheer momentum of Aecas’ kick, slumping onto the hard surface of the aisle, but the Black Angel isn’t finished with his opponent yet, reaching down he grabs Tarakanov by the throat dragging him back up to his feet and herding him down towards the ring.

 

Judge: Aecas is taking Tarakanov with him! This cannot be a smart move!

 

Annie: Like Aecas cares! He just wants to hurt Tarakanov now!

 

The Black Angel drags his opponent towards the steel ring steps; rearing back and readying himself to slam Tarakanov’s face into the steel, but the Russian blocks the assault bracing his foot against the metal of the stairs. The Red Rage slams an elbow backwards and into the chest of the Black Angel, grabbing the giant by his hair and smashing his face into the steps shoving him down against the steel.

 

Ejiro: And what a backfire by Aecas! Come on Viktor! Just get in the ring and get your title and its all over!

 

Tarakanov seems to have other ideas however, leaning down he hooks his fingers into the gaps between the protective amts and slowly peels one of the large rubber slabs away from the floor, exposing the hard concrete beneath. The Red Rage grabs Aecas by the hair once again; pulling his stunned opponent over onto the concrete, Tarakanov shoves the giant’s head between his legs before making the universal motion for the Piledriver.

 

The crowd grow more and more frantic, boos and jeers filling the air as the Red Rage wraps his arms around Aecas middle and lifts his opponent straight up into the air. Tarakanov holds Aecas upside down for a long moment before slowly falling backwards, sitting out and driving Aecas’ head into the concrete with a Piledriver! Aecas slumps almost lifelessly onto the concrete as Tarakanov lays beside him, both men utterly spent from their efforts.

 

Judge: That has to be it now, but the match is not going to end until Tarakanov can grab that title belt.

 

Ejiro: Come on Viktor! All you need to do is slide into that ring and get your belt! GET UP! GET UP NOW!

 

Annie: Calm down Ejiro either man could still win this fight.

 

Ejiro: Bullshit Annie, Aecas just got flattened on the concrete this match is OVER.

 

Tarakanov slowly sits up, dragging himself back to his feet as the disapproval of the fans gets louder and louder, the Russian turns towards the ring and slowly reaches for the ropes slowly pulling himself up onto the apron. The Red Rage slowly begins to step through the ropes, but stops dead as a huge hand clamps onto his left foot, Tarakanov looks back to see Aecas slowly dragging himself up using both his foot and the ring apron for support.

 

Ejiro: What is this! Come on Viktor! Just get in the ring!

 

Tarakanov tries to shake off Aecas grip as the Black Angel slowly rises up to his feet, his features somewhat blank and confused, heavily concussed from the effects of Piledriver, the giant shakes his head trying to clear it as he reaches up to slam a huge fist into the kidneys of the Russian. Tarakanov barks in pain as the blow sends waves of pain shooting through him, he sags against the ropes, standing on the apron as Aecas hammers another hard punch into his lower back.

 

Annie: This doesn’t look good for Tarakanov!

 

Judge: The tide has turned yet again and this could determine the winner right here!

 

Annie: Yes it could, don’t you want to see Aecas win?

 

Judge/Ejiro: NO!

 

Aecas steps up to the ring shoving his head between Tarakanov’s legs his arms lifting to grab the legs of his opponent as he pulls him away from the apron slowly, the Russian desperately hammers punchers into Aecas’ bloody face as he sits precariously on the giants shoulders. Aecas flinches under the barrage of fists his own arms raising up and latching on to Tarakanov’s hands, grabbing both in a crushing grip.

 

Annie: This is it! It’s all or nothing now!

 

The Black Angel pauses for a moment and then pulls Tarakanov forwards and off his shoulders, sitting out as his opponent plummets towards the ground and dropping Tarakanov on his head and shoulders on the concrete!

Annie: Assault Driver on the concrete! He just KILLED Viktor Tarakanov!

 

Ejiro: No! Come on Viktor! GET UP! GET UP!

 

Both men slump down to the concrete once more as the fans continue their chant, hardly believing what they just saw as both men lay prone and utterly spent on the concrete, the heaving of their chests the only sign s that they are still alive. Blood starts to seep onto the cold concrete floor, as the crowd chants for Aecas to get up and get in the ring. After what seems like an age Aecas finally stirs rolling onto his front and slowly pushing himself up to his knees shaking his head slightly as he tries to clear away the cobwebs.

 

Judge: I don’t think he has a clue where he is right now.

 

Annie: He just got his head smashed into the concrete Judge, that’s not something you just get up from.

 

Aecas slumps back o his hands and knees for a moment before he grabs the guard rail and slowly, painfully pushes himself back up to his feet he staggers over to the ring falling against the apron and leaning there for a moment before slowly climbing up onto the ring edge and stepping into the ring. Aecas sags against the ropes as the cheers of the fans echo in his ears, he steps forwards slowly and painfully reaches down, grabbing the title by a belt strap and hoisting it into the air to a thunderous roar of approval from the fans.

 

Funyon: The winner of the Boiler Room Brawl! AND THE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW SJL WORLD CHAMPION! THE BLACK ANGEL!!!!!!!!!! AEEEEEEEECAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ejiro: Noooo! It can’t end like this!

 

Judge: Tarakanov’s dream has ended in a nightmare!

 

Annie: And finally we have a worthwhile champion again! Go Aecas!

 

Ejiro: Dammit Annie how can you be so fucking biased towards this man! He’s a sick sadistic freak with a scythe complex! I mean that’s got to be making up for something!

 

Annie: Ejiro, how about a nice big cup of SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Judge: …………

 

Ejiro: Hey you can’t…..

 

Annie: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!

As the commentators squabble amongst themselves the last camera shot of the show is Aecas raising the World title in both hands to the deafening cheers of the fans, blood covers most of his face and chest but he still stands, bloody but unbowed. He turns around slowly as he holds his hard won prize in the air, the cameras move to a long shot showing the new champion standing tall in the ring and his opponent laying broken on the naked concrete.

 

Metal’s end credits appear at the bottom of the screen before the show slowly fades to black….
