TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 Although TNA announced last night that Kid Kash was suspended, he was in Nashville last night before the PPV. He is not in Orlando today for the Impact tapings, though. He wasn't used on last night's PPV despite being advertised up until showtime. We haven't heard yet whether he had a falling out with management or his leg was bothering him too much to wrestle, although sources indicate it's probably an issue with management because Kash had been vocal about being able to wrestle even while injured. As detailed in this week's Torch Newsletter "TNA Newswire," management was not happy with Kash's outspoken statements about his pay. He and A.J. Styles even had a verbal confrontation over Kash saying that TNA management coddles Styles. Kash has a long track record in wrestling for saying whatever he is thinking to management. -Before the PPV last night, when various wrestlers names were mentioned, the mention of Jeff Hardy's name got one of the biggest pops of the night. His name was also chanted by fans, who wanted to see him. He is expected to be with TNA as a full-time regular, which pleases a number of TNA wrestlers who believe his presense gives TNA an additional star to help buyrates. A few top wrestlers, though, are reportedly expressing a bit of frustration that Hardy might knock them down a peg. -There's no sign of Dennis Rodman in Orlando yet, but he is on the format board and is expected to appear for the TV show. With all of the advertising they've done, they obviously feel confident the sometimes unreliable Rodman will be there as scheduled. -Ken Shamrock was upbeat and positive backstage last night, interacting with wrestlers, some of whom he knew from his stint with TNA two years ago and other whom he had never met. He was there with his wife and seemed to be excited to be back in pro wrestling. He just won a UFC main event on June 19 in Las Vegas, Nev. at Mandalay Bay. He defeated Kimo in the PPV main event. He is still expected to be part of future UFC matches, including potentially a rematch with Tito Ortiz. -The top story on TNAwrestling.com today is the return of Ken Shamrock and debut of Dennis Rodman on TNA Impact on Fox Sports Net this Friday. If you're not sure of the timeslot in your area (it's on at 3 p.m. Fridays in most every market regardless of timezone), click here. -This Monday's Newsday featured a story on TNA's Trinity. It's a detailed story talking about the career path she's taken to TNA. The headline reads: "Stephanie Finochi: stuntwoman - How a nice gal from Long Island turned an appetite for extreme sport into a career on the big screen - including a turn in 'Spider-Man'" Full link: click here. I think Kash's days in TNA might be numbered and that's a problem, because he's a great, great heel. Hopefully Rodman doesn't stand them up tonight.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 I hope Kash doesn't ruin it for himself. He's one of the best they have, and I don't know if it's as good without him.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted July 1, 2004 I'm a Shamrock fan, but I just notcied that Impact won't be airing on FSN Chicago this week due to a Cubs/Sox game. Anyone know if they show any replays on FSN Chicago?
