Portland Man Arrested on Charges of Incest, Rape and Sexual Exploitation

 

35-year-old Portland man is charged with incest, rape and sexual exploitation in a case involving his 7-year-old relative.

 

Police say they have it all caught on tape.

 

Portland police detective Don Hardin has gone through most of the piles of videotapes and pictures. 

 

"The abuse went on for approximately 7 years that there were incidents involving photographs - incident of actual rape - fondling", said Hardin.

 

The detective says 35-year-old Stacy Mooneyhan is on the tapes and in the pictures having sex with his 7-year-old relative.  In some cases, the detective says, the Portland man used force.

 

"Victims of sexual abuse have problems for years and years - sometimes their lives", said Hardin.

 

Mooneyhan has been charged with raping a child, sexual exploitation and incest.  The detective is still going through the evidence and plans to file more charges involving more victims. 

 

Some of the pictures were so inappropriate, the detective says, the film developer refused to process the film.

 

Mooneyhan's cousin, Casey, lives next door.  He questions the charges. 

 

"I wouldn't think he would do anything like that - but it's just whatever if he did he needs to go to jail.  If not, he needs to be acquitted of the charges", said Casey Mooneyhan,

 

The Lilly's are also neighbors.  They let their six-old granddaughter play with the Mooneyhan's kids. 

 

"If Stacy was going to do something, the girls have had a talk - if any man or anybody touches you inappropriate - you come and tell us.  If you're a 6-year-old you know there's no secrets - she tells everything to everybody", said Dorothy Lilly

 

Mooneyhan is out of jail on bond.  Under the conditions of his release, he is not allowed to go near minors.

 

His attorney would not comment on the case.

 

Police say they got wind of what was going on after the victim told her guidance counselor.

Yeah see, if they have photos and tape...I think the odds of him being innocent are kind of out the window. So I think his cousin and neighbors might need to think, although his cousin seems to be like "well then fry him" which is a good attitude.

 

Why give him bail though? That's some serious bs there. If you have that much evidence, get him in prison as soon as possible.

.. I fail to see how this does any justice to the "new" part of news. Stuff like that is discovered X times per month. Sometimes more sometimes less perverse.

Belgium just sentenced Dutroux and now they have a guy from France on their hands who is 61 and has molested countless little girls. Currently some fuck is walking around in Germany killing and raping women.

 

 

I mean, come on. Not that I'm a heartless prick (hmm .. yes, okay maybe I am) but I fail to see how this really affects anyone who doesn't live in Portland, Oregon.
