Guest CronoT Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 http://metroid.homestead.com/Downloads.html Click on the link, and then click on the name Metroid Redemption. You will need the program WinRAR to extract it. A link to get WinRAR is provided on the site.
Guest CronoT Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Isn't anyone going to reply to this thread? You know, something like 'Thanks, Crono, for finding that game.' or something?
razazteca Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 What is the gameplay like? A review would be nice.
AndrewTS Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Since I have a crappy computer on dial up, was is it? A Metroid 1 hack? Completely original? Does it play as-is or is it a ROM that needs to work on an emulator?
BUTT Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 You can play it as-is. It's a stand-alone game which has graphics similar to Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. I only played it for a couple of minutes, but it seemed OK. A little rough around the edges, however, as you can expect a fan-made game to be.
